Here's something odd and funny at the same time. I was in Vegas and I walked across one of those wedding chapels. Inside, I noticed a guy smiling from ear to ear. He put on a cap that said FunnieBucket.
I know FunnieBucket sold a stock that went up about $12 and he owned 2M shares. And so, I stood there to see who he was getting ready to marry and spend a life of freedom.
Then, a person approached FunnieBucket and that person's cap said YooHoo Drinker.
Congratulations to both of you!
I went to my local car wash and there was a guy with a funny looking bucket washing my car. I asked him why he had a funny looking bucket when everyone else had a regular bucket.
He said that he was part of Team Bucket. He then put on his cap (FunnieBucket). Are you sure that wasn't you? Did you start working the car wash as an April Fool's joke?
I'm not knocking the car wash business as I appreciate clean cars just like the next guy.
Enjoy your life. Thanks for the shine!
Do you still have your 20K SPY short from 210 and change still active? I think we may see a pop in the SPY unless it breaks the support level. Then, once the SPY hits the ceiling, it will be time to re-short.
It's always time to worry when there are wild swings in the market both ways. Markets never crash until this happens. I'm not saying we're going to crash soon; however, violent swings occur prior to any crash.
Unless your overall wealth is at around 100 million, you would be silly to plunk almost a million dollars to buy a penny stock.
The ONLY time to buy a penny stock is after a complete stock market crash. For example, Office Depot and Applied Micro Devices were both pennies after the last market crash.
I think the stock will fall on lockup-expiration on 3/18/2015. It will likely have good support at a lower level though. That's the time to cover the short and buy.
It will be interesting to see how the lock-up expiration for BABA on March 18th will affect the stock price. There's even a bigger lock-up expiration in Sep2015.
We need AEA back. You may end up flip-flopping a great deal as the market will likely continue lower as we head towards the next Fed meeting. AEA is short SPY.
Apple keeps dropping slightly each day, but AMZN appears to be popping. What are your thoughts on AMZN? Is Amazon Prime putting upward pressure on the stock?
The highest PE stocks typically fall the most during a correction. Will AMZN longs get hurt?
Keep in mind that March 18 and Sep 20 are lockup expiration dates.
I thought you still had 3 shorts outstanding. Your pasts posts reveal that the following positions still exist for AMZN (Then again, I could have missed a trade or two):
