Funny... while you rant incessantly against "theft," you do not hesitate to engage in _intellectual_ theft on a daily basis, as do all of your aliases. In this case you stole from some quack by the name of Dr. Hurd (dot kom). Interesting how the language in all your countless copy & paste thefts (as well as those of the rest of your ilk and/or aliases) always sounds the same. Could it be that the ultimate source is always the same, e.g., the propaganda machine of those master megathieves Koch Bros.?
Eleven presidential candidates had three prime-time hours on the national stage on Wednesday to tell the American people why they should lead the country.
Nobody forced them to be there. They were there freely, armed with the best arguments they and their policy advisers had come up with, to make their cases as seasoned politicians, business leaders and medical professionals — the Republican Party’s “A-Team,” as one of them, Mike Huckabee, said at the outset.
And that, America, is frightening. Peel back the boasting and insults, the lies and exaggerations common to any presidential campaign. What remains is a collection of assertions so untrue, so bizarre, that they form a vision as surreal as the Ronald Reagan jet looming behind the candidates’ lecterns.
It felt at times as if the speakers were no longer living in a fact-based world where actions have consequences, programs take money and money has to come from somewhere. Where basic laws — like physics and the Constitution — constrain wishes. Where Congress and the public, allies and enemies, markets and militaries don’t just do what you want them to, just because you say they will.
If "Mir" and ilk had their way, the USA would look like Greece, economically. Not taxing the rich is equivalent to allowing them to plunder the land's assets. It isn't the blowhard boors like "Mir" who create jobs -- it's an economically healthy middle class that is the motor for employment. As long as only 400 of the wealthiest Americans have more wealth than half of all Americans combined, we'll have NO healthy middle class.
I beg to disagree. Judging by his intellectual qualities, I would say he probably IS a bagger -- in a supermarket, earning minimum wage.
"There's over 300 million guns out there. .."
If THAT isn't the sign of a seriously SICK society, I don't know what is.
Ain't that somethin'... Truly he's presidential material.

This was a reader''s letter in response to a NYT article ttitled "Socialism, American-Style":
State capitalism, which despite the author's assertions otherwise is what this article is about, cannot and will not work any better than the failing crony neo-feudalistic capitalism of today, the laissez-faire capitalism of the Gilded Age, or any other genre of capitalism. The world's problems are too large for the profit motive to solve. Growth, growth, growth is all capitalism understands and capitalism requires it as its oxygen. It is destroying and will destroy the planet for future generations.
Capitalism will die. One way or the other. As it looks, it's going to be a very, very nasty, destructive journey and the consequences of the current path suggest the finite constraints that the Earth imposes on growth are imposing themselves and will impose themselves to such a greater degree that even the stupidest free market fundamentalist will understand what it has wrought. Don't look for economists to understand this; they are useless after their years of immersion in bankrupt intellectual economics. Don't look for politicians to understand; they are useless, self-important, self-aggrandizing, partisan cowards.
Pope Francis seems to be the only responsible "leader" that has a clue. Imagine that; a religious leader that doesn't ignore science and all that which is staring humanity in the face while the academic economists -- conservative and liberal alike, -- are immersed in idiotic fights of the last 30+ years of worthless neo-classical economics.
This is shaping up to be the most entertaining presidential election in decades. Sixteen -- count 'em! -- candidates, and they're all a hoot. not a one of them has any integrity. The only other election I can think of that may have been near this entertaining was 1968, and there it was the Buckley/Vidal debate sideshow that was so funny (immortalized in YouTube, harmfully). and not the candidates themselves.
I must say I do rather miss that bimbo from Wasilla...
You are truly a master of the nonsensical non sequitur. Maybe you should apply to Faux Noise as a commentator? You would fit well in Palin's former slot.
"...you are confirming Richard Herrnstein's research and it's resulting IQ bell curve..."
...and you, you seem to be heIIbent on personally demonstrating and proving the existence of the
Dunning–Kruger effect, which includes being too stupid to recognize one's own stupidity.
You might also want to review your use of the apostrophe before you accuse others of having a low IQ.
" People who believe these things are not "conservatives" or "patriots" or any of the other things they wish to be called. They're mostly just deeply stupid.
Gotta love that RWNJ logic - it can be turned inside-out so easily!
