The only reason to think this company would not declare bankruptcy is the fact they just hired a CEO and CFO this year. The idea that these two would join a company about to declare bankruptcy seems unlikely but other than that most everything else points to bankruptcy. Of course if they do have great results to report that would be helpful but let’s face it, they have been talking about their great results for over two years and still nothing of any consequence to support those claims. You have two types of investors in this company, true believers and folks who are selling.

    ACTC Update

I can guarantee nothing about release of paper other than vague references. I can also guarantee this will only be the new guy saying hello and how happy he is to be part of the company and maybe not that now that he has been exposed to the inner workings of the company. ACTC is a very risky small company with only 35 employees. They have one officer for every 5 employees and one board director for every five employees. I worry that Robert Lanza refusing to sign an employee contract speaks volumes about ACTC and their problems. I use to be excited about the potential but enough is enough.

  • ACTC in my opinion will not ask for more shares, instead they must RS and up list to NASDAQ before year end. Not sure how they can but if they don't but instead ask for more shares than I would suggest this company will be tossed in the trash heap of lost causes. So, if they are around in 2015 they will be on their way hopefully to commercialization of the first FDA approved Stem Cell Therapy. We are counting down to Sept 30 when they will reach the deadline to RS. I think this explains why we are trading at .06 plus, as we get close to the deadline I would anticipate more pressure on the share price. But if they do RS and up-list then all that’s left is FDA approval for phase II and we’ll for the first time see real interest in ACTC by investors other than retail. The odds are not on our side to say the least but it could happen.

Traders can make a few bucks on this stock, but will it ever make an investor glad they bought? Not so far. We've come back from the abyss but there is a long way to go. This stock still looks more like a scam than investment. We can continue to dream but it is harder each month.

Is it possible to reach $1 pps before any RS?

I am assuming based on recent events this year that RS may actually happen before Oct. Which would suggest the peer review article would need to come out before then for this stock to have what would be a snowballs chance in h___ of reaching a dollar. People who keep dreaming that the pps will go above a billion market cap or roughly .25 are in fact counting on unexplainable exuberance which of course fits into the category of anything is possible just not likely. Do you believe it's possible to win the lottery? Good luck.

  • Shares being accumulated by one or more folks, can it be?

There is no excuse for Lanza to sell any shares, period. Its the worse kind of PR and there is no need for it. He should be more sensitive to his shareholders, that have held on the last few years with all the shenanigans of Gary and company. I know Lanza is an exceptional talent and we are lucky to have him but good grief if the company's officers can't buy at least don't sell. what a slap in the face to all shareholders. There are no acceptable words to express my frustration over this.

If he shows up for work and does something besides sell company shares we'll be ahead. In other words the bar is pretty low at ACTC for a new CEO.

Yes, question was dilution and this is significant dilution. We paid depending how you calculate the pps about $25 million for a less than $500,000 loan. Talk about a travesty of justice, this is one. But it finally puts to bed the last legacy issue that we are aware of being. It’s going to take some time and very good execution of a business plan to put this behind us. If we are listed on NASDAQ in October/November we may be feeling better but right now this sucks.

michaeldean, I agree we could have seen the bottom except if bad news and the bad news we are facing is if Ted disappoints with the financing he announces. Or if he waits too long to announce his news it could also cause the pps to go lower. But hope springs eternal that he comes through soon and delivers a knockout punch on the upside. I sure hope so for all longs sake. It could happen.

  • Everyone is waiting to see how ACTC is going to fund themselves for the nest 18 months. Will Ted come through or miss expectations. Anyone want to guess?
