Thank you everyone! i think i got some really great insights. i think what i'll end up doing is selling positions so that i get my original investment back and keep the rest in place for more capital appreciation.
with that said, what lots would you recommend selling? i have about 6 different lots of DDD ranging from a cost basis of 39-47 dollars a share. would you recommend selling the lower or higher cost basis lots?
i'm an investor; not a trader. all of my investing is done through my roth IRA. currently, i am up nearly 100% on my DDD investments. i want to hold this stock long term; however, i'm curious if i should be closing out my positions to actually realize my gains and taking those proceeds to buy back when the price pulls back a bit. or should i just keep these positions open? i'm tempted to close out because i'm very limited in the amount of capital i can contribute to my roth IRA. any advice would be apprecaited. thanks and happy holidays!
