TC Share price is behaving badly -

While I can say, I would have liked to see more of a pop from the news last week, I can also say I appreciate a little more time to accumulate at these low prices.
Within the year, conservative guidance or not, the FCF from increased moly prices and Mt. Milligan will be impossible to ignore.
I'm pretty fully leveraged right now, but if I weren't, I'd be looking at the Jan '15 $5 or $4 puts. Sell them today and if you get assigned it's at $2.65 or $2.75 effective share price. You could even sell them, and buy shares with the options premiums to leverage further. If TC is still trading below $5 ($4 more conservatively) by options expiration in January ... well I'd be surprised, let's just say that.

    Anyone selling any Puts?

Last week I sold some Jan 2015 $5 puts and then bought shares with the proceeds. I have some sold June 14 $4 puts that are making me sweat a little now ... hopefully not after the call tomorrow.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Hi all-
Been following TC for a couple years now, and happy to see that we've made it through (most of the way) the opening of MM.
Clearly this earnings report on 5/13 will be huge for the short term, but I'm curious as to what folks are expecting to see in the long term. TC all time high is just shy of $25/sh ... clearly there has been/will be dilution with the TMEDs, etc, but does anyone have a calculation for what this thing will be worth in the long run?
I think clearly we'll see some short-term pop, after this earnings report, if earnings come in as dragon and ultra have been posting (and thanks, guys, I do appreciate your willingness to share your substantial analysis with us all) ...
Obviously we're under an overhang of TMED conversions and the need to refi the debt, and metals prices are persnickety to predict even in the short term. But are you thinking

Just curious and thanks for any responses.

  • Hi all-
I've been buying MTG since before it dropped to $0.66, and have continued buying on the way up. Now that a return to TTM profitability is within sight, I'm pretty confident that as a result we will see some more significant share price increases as a result.
    And ...
Given MTG's former high was around 10x higher than current share prices, I'm wondering what people are thinking regarding possible share prices for a "recovered" MTG, i.e. once we are out from under the overhang of the mortgage crisis. Obviously there's been some significant dilution, but I'm curious what others are expecting.
    Thanks in advance.
