its was not going to be a popular position for the MFs to show they had holdings in the MLPs for the quarterly report. This would be a very short sighted way of thinking. The strongest MLPs will make them look stupid. Am sure most of the money was redirected to consumer spending stocks.. getting ready for the Christmas retail season, making the quarterly report will look more exciting.
Mutual funds..... moving funds out of MLPs to dress up its quarterly report. They don't want to appear to be holding unpopular holdings. Pretty short sighted.
if you jumped off a bridge... someone else would get your dividend, and that just wouldn't be right.... right?!!!! lol
not sure this has much to do with the merger.... as ALL the mid streamers are getting killed all the and practically the same percentage. Mutual funds are liquidating... and will look pretty stupid later on. I have to wait til January to add shares.... DANG IT.... but I will at that time!! I expect things to level off after the first of the month.
Just said ETP will remain a MLP and is in a downdraft of 10% more... but will be fine in the long run.
If that IS true.... I will stick with it and let it be a benefit in my "drip" program. I will consider adding
shares after the first of the year. (only liquidity choice for me)
I loved the concept and direction at EMES... but after it peaked, I never did like the "pin action". So after while I
got out and just have been watching AND TEMPTED, but never could put myself back in. I'm having as much trouble in the mid streams! This is no easy market. Good luck to you!
I was in last week..... lost a couple bucks and got out. When I watched the Cramer interview... you could tell he wasn't convinced. Neither was I.
lol.... that was about the same margin I expected, as I explained my purchase to a buddy. Most of the LNG comes from Russia, doesn't it? Certainly Italy, Egypt..... Well, it always "sounds good"... so we'll have to see how it plays out. Certainly must have been enough quality to get Ichan to double down.
