Seriously, his conduct was criminal. It's one thing to analyze a business model and write about it, but what he did was try to manipulate the stock. I will forever relate his face and name with the low of the low....a true #$%$ NEVER to be taken seriously again.
I'm sure Timmy will come up with another lame apology!
Tim Cook is the MOST clueless CEO in the world. The market's and public's perception of Apple has shifted. Cook and Apple are too arrogant to see that and too stupid to do anything to fix that!
Timmy Cook and the BOD should get the boot. Who let's $300,000,000,000 in market cap get erased and yet do NOTHING!! They have tremendous amounts of cash....they MUST return it to the shareholders. Otherwise, they are CROOKS! #$%$ Tim....you jerk!
Because Cook is an IDIOT, he spends most of his time apologizing....they need to get their s%^t together and fast!!
We've been Singh'ed!!!,!
Apple keeps getting bashed in the face and then Cook steps in to apologize!? While he hasn't created all of this negative sentiment against Apple, Cook has certainly perpetuated it with his tepid responses and inability to go on the offensive. Horrible, truly horrible has Tim Cook been these past six months.
Tim Cook has created a special shareholder committee comprised of former executives from Enron, Chesapeake Energy, Tyco, and Lincoln Savings. The goal of the committee is to preserve shareholder value...now I can sleep better at night.
Cook is a #$%$!
I think the former management team at Chesapeake Energy was more shareholder friendly than Apple.
I would hold if you already own, but there are better places to put new money. TOT is dead money and has been for a while now.
I agree with you 100% that this stock has been a dog for most of the last year, but not too sure about the correlation you're trying to make. That said TOT frustrates the heck out of me.
You lack reading comprehension. I'm talking about dead money, the lack of any appreciable gain in share price, not whether the board is shareholder friendly. Total's board can be the most shareholder friendly on the planet but what good is that if the government is hell bent on taxing them to death.
That's because Cook and his team are too busy doing nothing, except for watching the share price crater over 40% from its peak. The amount of Apple's loss in market cap is unprecedented in the history of business. While Apple still has plenty of gas left in the tank, all of this negative perception will hurt them (regardless of whether the negative perception originates from Wall Street or Main Street). Apple has done little to nothing to sway all of the negative press. Samsung keeps attacking Apple at every opportunity and Apple just sits there and takes the punches.
HAHAHAHAHAHA, the Street hates Tom Ward!!
Not sure why Apple's management has done so little to support the share price. I feel as if they hate shareholders.
EOM
I already know that. My comment wasn't based on the location of Total's operations.
