afburn, I see why your posting WRONG debt info for FUEL. You're getting your info from Yahoo. Yahoo's financial data for companies is notoriously WRONG and outdated! I strongly recommend that you never use that info if you want accurate info! Go right to the officially released SEC financial reports. They are the most up-to-date accurate info. And, you should not be arguing with someone who uses up-to-date, accurate info while you use Yahoo outdated info!!

I don't know where you're getting your debt info, afburn? I'm getting mine directly from the official December 31, 2014 financial report released to the SEC.

Terrible advice. In 2008/2009 everything was way down from their highs, and everything was a great investment. Your advice would have had everyone avoiding buying everything, and missing out on everything.

Would you have said the same about Apple when its Value to Sale ratio was 2? It now has a ratio of 4.
That ratio is virtually worthless for picking stocks! You will NEVER be successful investing if that is how you pick your stocks. Newer companies can have ratios of 100 and be bargains.

Another LIE! FUEL's long term debt is $23 million, NOT $69 million! And their current assets are $100 million more than their current liabilities!! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! These numbers are readily available from FUEL's posted financial statement dated February 19th, posted everywhere.

Yet another person lying about insiders selling at $13. One more time: THOSE INSIDER SELLS ARE PRESET AUTOMATIC PERIODIC SALES, no matter where the stock is at the time, high, low, whatever. They are NOT selling because they know something bad is about to happen!!

You're the liar, or at least uninformed. The CEO never promised profits - yet. He has said all along that the company was going to first concentrate on rapid sales growth and customer acquisition with goal of only staying near break-even (non-GAAP). This is what they've done. NOW he is saying that they will begin to concentrate on profits and I believe it will happen, though not until 2nd half of 2015.

Sorry michelle, you are just plain barking up the wrong tree regarding insider sales. Planned sale programs are a very common thing with officers of public companies. It eliminates all conflicts regarding appearances of insider trading AND it is a way for hard working officers to supliment their salaries. VERY common and it IS what the FUEL insiders have been doing for YEARS. You can NOT draw ANY conclusions from those sales (period). Furthermore, this stock is EXTREMELY closely held by insiders, including the officers. They have a tremendous amount of shares and a tremendous amount of their future depending on how FUEL's stock performs. And that's the way I like to see it.

  • crazyworld4u crazyworld4u Feb 20, 2015 5:27 PM Flag

There has been ZERO real insider selling the past few weeks and months. All those sales you see on form 4s are sales that are part of AUTOMATIC sale plans. Those shares are sold at predetermined dates whether the stock is up or down. Thus, it is useless, as you, michelle, are recommending to watch for further insider selling to determine whether the stock is done going down!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Still bullish on FUEL. But, target price lowered to 22 from 31. Still, 22 is more than a double from where it is. They say FUEL is now entering the "harvest stage" where they will stop the huge spending on growth and aim to profit from what they've already built.

    Options reveals going to $5

"Bankruptcy around the corner?!" You say? LOL is all I can say. It's extremely difficult to go "bankrupt around the corner" when you have almost no long-term debt, a cash position of $107 million, and your cash burn is no worse than $10 million or so a quarter, at present, AND your cash burn will be dropping. Nice try though. I guess there would be many neophyte investors on these Yahoo finance boards that would believe you since they don't know how to read financial reports. One last thing, OPTIONS are revealing NOTHING!

What "huge miss?" You're the "scam" around here, not FUEL. Their quarter came in at the low end of the guidance range. That is NOT a "huge miss!" As usual, there's a lot of wrong info being spewed around here, purposely or not. Many of you simply don't know how to read. I even saw a regular financial news site that was reporting, purposely or not, that FUEL's guidance for next quarter was about a 50% miss, like many of you eggheads are saying. Hey eggheads! The company CHANGED the way they report. THAT is why it LOOKS like a 50% miss. But it is NOT anywhere close to that. They now report NET SALES and not GROSS SALES! You don't know what you're reading or talking about. And if you do, you're just attempting to mislead smallfry investors into selling or not buying!! I AM BUYING TOMORROW MORNING!

  • This is a long-term great growth company with very good management.
Management stated all along that they were going to try to stay close to break-even (adjusted) while
rapidly growing for a year or two. That's what they've done.
Now, they've stated that they will move to the next stage and reduce costs as a percentage of revenue, and
go to above break-even (adjusted) in 2015. I believe they'll do that.
After 2015 real earnings will start to kick in.
This company is still a great leader in what they do and they do it very very well.
Customer count was up very nicely.
Company is is very good financial condition; NO debt problem at all.
Company is a very attractive takeover candidate though I don't ever count on that when I invest.
I'm still long and still VERY confident in my investment. My average stock price is about $13.
This is surely a buying opportunity if the stock stays below $13.
Lots of shenanigans going on here with shorts, etc.
IF analysts start downgrading on this report, don't believe them is my advice!

cld, your "gauges" are all ONE side of the equation for success. Only the "sales" side. We still have NO idea about the "profit margin, net profit" side of the success equation for Pure and Solidfire. Perhaps, they are practically giving their stuff away to gain market share! At least with VMEM we can SEE, for sure, that VMEM is making steady, good progress towards profitability. There is no argument you can present on that. You, and all of us, simply do not know.

You posters that keep bringing up Pure or Solidfire and how great their sales growth might be compared to VMEM. Since they ARE private companies we have absolutely no idea how much money they might be LOSING right now to get their supposedly terrific sales growth! Don't forget that.

HOW do you know Pure, or Solidfire, are reporting 50% growth quarter over quarter? They're PRIVATE companies, no? As such, they do not report their financial results. Please tell me where to find that info.

Vmemwhistleblower, the FACTS say you're wrong. Namely, over the last two reported quarters the top customers (over $1 million in sales) were mostly different customers each time. And you can not compare VMEM to NMBLE since they're basically after different markets. NMBLE tries to sell to anyone down to the smallest companies. Pure, Xtreme (EMC), and IBM are VMEM's competitors and VMEM is winning their share between those. VMEM does not need the whole potential market to themselves. Something even around 20% market share would be way more than enough.

Fully loaded up and very confident.
Love DeNuccio; he's a terrific CEO.
My targets and guesstimates: VMEM will have sales of $150 million in calendar 2015
and sales of $300 million in calendar 2016.
    2016 non-gaap earnings will be 35 cents.
2017 non-gaap earnings will be $1 per share.
Stock price will touch $20 in 2017; that's what I will wait for.
And I hope there is NO buyout before that, at some lower stock price of $8 or even 10 or $12.
At this time, my feeling is that VMEM is one of those rare in-the-bag, can't miss opportunities to
make great money on a great American company.
Yes, things can and do happen to mess up one's best hopes.
I am now at load the boat STRONG BUY "above" $4 and at anything up to $4.50.
