Golfmaniac, I took another look at your numbers. How do you account for the OS variable and does your result "say" similar companies that make 1 B Rev should be approx $300/sp ? If so, the above mentioned stocks eg, JAZZ and ALXN with multiplier

That is why you never sell your core holdings. So if the stock goes to Over Bought and you sell your trading shares and then later news hits-you are still in the game.

He was on vacation and his printer is getting low on ink. Give him time, but Zach may beat him to the punch again, Adam's pieces seem to have no legs thought is they will attack a few things...the number of patients in the study, location of the study and the burn rate, risk of small caps/OTC stocks in general. Probably other "issues", he will make an issue out of anything. They has no conviction in most of what they write, perhaps bragging a few tweets here and there then no more. Now, he has followers who praise him and will buy-sell on his request. So you have to respect that and just hold your ground, if there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the company and the science there is no need to do anything (he will try to create doubt), perhaps buy on the lows and say thank you Adam/Zach.

So looking at stock ta, S and R numbers..and comparing to my guess ( your own good interpretation is your best "indicator") from the candlestick chart estimating Resistance $1.46, Support $0.97. compare to stockta...I am off, but I don't think my guess is unreasonable. Their R is $1.51 and S is $1.18 best support is $0.44 . Keep in mind the strength of each value is a Confluence, a complex value , you can say its like a "confidence number".
3 is minimal "confidence". Once the stock stays at these levels longer the Conf value will build. But if this stock is on a run the numbers will stay low, indicating not much resistance or support. So if it can close at some point above $ 1.51, we are in the LAND OF NO RESISTANCE. A beautiful place. Remember crossing Resistance numbers and closing above it, turns Resistance into Support.

The stock ta numbers can vary day to day. So I check them 1-2x per week.

    Type Value Conf.
    resist. 1.51 3
    supp 1.18 3
    supp 1.07 3
    supp 0.99 3
    supp 0.85 2
    supp 0.79 2
    supp 0.53 3
    supp 0.44 12
    supp 0.34 4
    supp 0.27 6
    supp 0.19 8

One strategy is - Build a core holding (Lock box-NEVER TRADE THESE) along with some trading shares. Have some TRADING SHARES for those days that is gets into a cycle between Over Bought and Over sold . Its not as easy as it sounds of course in a highly volatile stock like AVXL, but can work well if you can discipline yourself to be patient. Learn to use the Yahoo charts, indicators, moving avg etc , Stockta is good for Support and Resistance numbers, its helpful. Now there are times where this strategy will not be very helpful. Nothing is perfect. China sneezes and the market gets a cold. Make your own mistakes in life.

$8.0 million cash sufficient for 2 yrs. ....$3M warrants exercised....$1.5 mil Op Exp reflect inc R and D....Highlights : MJFox Foundation Grant $286,456 on the effect of ANAVEX 2-73 in a Parkinson’s disease animal model.....Patent and Trademark related to ANAVEX 2-73 will provide intellectual property protection until at least 2030.

On July 22, 2015, Anavex announced initial Phase 2a study data for ANAVEX 2-73, the Company’s lead investigational oral treatment for Alzheimer’s targeting sigma-1 and muscarinic receptors, which is believed to reduce protein misfolding including reduction of beta amyloid, tau and inflammation. ANAVEX 2-73 showed positive cognitive effects in 83 percent (10/12) of patients during PART A of the study, which consists of a 36-day on-off-on not-yet-optimized dosing regimen to assess bioavailability. At day 36, the amplitude of the cognitive EEG/ERP biomarker P300 increased 38 percent from baseline. Published data suggests that a 38 percent increase is approximately four times higher than donepezil (Aricept®), the current standard of care, in the same timeframe.

What I have done in the past is place those who continually post to bashers on IGNORE too. for all I know they are bashers other alias trying to keep their thread going or to the top. So consider that you are feeding into the bashers when you re-post to them and you will then become IGNORED also.

  • crecy_war_knight by crecy_war_knight Aug 17, 2015 10:10 AM Flag

Its the one thing they hate. Hit thumbs down, Then hit IGNORE. And stop feeding the troll. Avoid posting to their asinine commits - that's their game and you will never win, or convince them. Stop them in their tracks. Hit IGNORE!

Alzheimer's Disease is one of the most complex disease to understand. That is why so many drug studies have failed. It is important to attempt to understand some of the complexity - start with the
Corporate Presentation ( ) esp pages 5, 6, and 7. Then listen to the web cast. These are all found on the home page. BTW "CHO " stands for Chinese Hamster Ovary cells.

The membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of a cell forms contacts directly with mitochondria whereby the contact isreferred to as the mitochondrion-associated ERmembrane or the MAM. Here we found that the MAM regulates cellular survival via an MAM-residing ER chaperone the sigma-1 receptor (Sig-1R) in that the Sig-1R chaperones the ER stress sensor IRE1 to facilitate inter-organelle signaling for survival. IRE1 is found in this study to be enriched at the MAM in CHO cells. Wefound that IRE1 is stabilized at the MAM by Sig-1Rs when cells are under ER stress. Sig-1Rs stabilize IRE1 and thus allow for
conformationally correct IRE1 to dimerize into the long-lasting, activated endonuclease. The IRE1 at the MAM also respondsto reactive oxygen species derived from mitochondria. Therefore, the ER-mitochondrion interface serves as an importantsubcellular entity in the regulation of cellular survival by enhancing the stress-responding signaling between mitochondria,ER, and nucleus
