That is why you never sell your core holdings. So if the stock goes to Over Bought and you sell your trading shares and then later news hits-you are still in the game.

Probably other "issues", he will make an issue out of anything. They has no conviction in most of what they write, perhaps bragging a few tweets here and there then no more. Now, he has followers who praise him and will buy-sell on his request. So you have to respect that and just hold your ground, if there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the company and the science there is no need to do anything (he will try to create doubt), perhaps buy on the lows and say thank you Adam/Zach.
So looking at stock ta, S and R numbers..and comparing to my guess ( your own good interpretation is your best "indicator") from the candlestick chart estimating Resistance $1.46, Support $0.97. compare to stockta...I am off, but I don't think my guess is unreasonable. Their R is $1.51 and S is $1.18 best support is $0.44 . Keep in mind the strength of each value is a Confluence, a complex value , you can say its like a "confidence number".
3 is minimal "confidence". Once the stock stays at these levels longer the Conf value will build. But if this stock is on a run the numbers will stay low, indicating not much resistance or support. So if it can close at some point above $ 1.51, we are in the LAND OF NO RESISTANCE. A beautiful place. Remember crossing Resistance numbers and closing above it, turns Resistance into Support.
The stock ta numbers can vary day to day. So I check them 1-2x per week.

One strategy is - Build a core holding (Lock box-NEVER TRADE THESE) along with some trading shares. Have some TRADING SHARES for those days that is gets into a cycle between Over Bought and Over sold . Its not as easy as it sounds of course in a highly volatile stock like AVXL, but can work well if you can discipline yourself to be patient. Learn to use the Yahoo charts, indicators, moving avg etc , Stockta is good for Support and Resistance numbers, its helpful. Now there are times where this strategy will not be very helpful. Nothing is perfect. China sneezes and the market gets a cold. Make your own mistakes in life.
