That's my clock ticking.........waiting for news.........................
need something to hold $5.....................................................
I've heard of CEO, COB, COO,CFO, CTO...but Ex Ch?
I think it's just a way to say that they have a new CEO and hopefully it's a graceful parking job for Mr. megalomaniac. With over 3M shares, Boruff should just sit back in his TN castle and watch his shares grow in value. He should be encouraged not to come to work. Play with the title for a long time and count your shares, oppies and earnings. Please do us all a favor and disappear so that the new CEO can run this show.
I can't wait to see the changes!
I heard that Exxon may be in trouble over the Deepwater Horizon. Will Miller be buying Exxon's Alaskan assets next?
"If I bought Miller for a quick profit..."
Sorry, I bought Miller in August 2011, that's a LTCG x 3 years if there was a gain. Made the major mistake of averaging up in the past year under $7. I think everything we've been told has been sugar coated and told to keep us "on the hook". Until top management is changed, I will not buy one more share. In fact, I've recently sold a good portion of my shares as I'm doubtful that the "pop" is coming. These guys have spent way too much, over-promised and under delivered. RU-9 may come in around 750, I can only hope, otherwise, $40+M spent so far won't cover the decline in the past year in Cook Inlet. Drilling in CI is no piece of cake. The best, most experienced drillers are challenged in this brutal location. We can only hope that the Board can manage expectations and put the proper people in place to cut expenses drastically and make this a profitable venture. Way too many companies have come to Alaska and caught a dose of reality, slap to the head to find out too late, survival is about keeping costs under control and trying hard to show the "E" in P/E.
I welcome any and all success with Miller. Personally, I think the hopes and expectations were real. The problem is that the ones guiding us higher have only stated the positives and are smoking hopium. Delay after delay has been met with a lack of honesty about the situation. Message to management: Don't sugar coat it for me! If the news is bad, let me know. If we hit a gusher, yippee, I'm rich. Just stop stringing me along. The volume has been low for the past few months as we've been told, RU-9 in July, in August, in September. Everyone's waiting, not selling. I've just about had enough. Trimmed my position without cratering the price to the $3's. Let's see......
Anyone in management listening to this long term shareholder?
1. When will Scott Boruff be replaced?
2. When will you start to run Alaskan operations with a view towards limiting expenses
3. When will you tell us the truth?
4. When will you explain your drilling plans? Why always jumping from place to place?
5. How long does it take to sell the TN operations?
6. Why in the world would you lease the most expensive offices in Houston when your operations are in TN and AK and the goal is cutting expenses?
7. Are executives flying in the company plane still?
Bruce Springsteen had a song many years ago...."One step up and two steps back...." seems to be our mantra..
Can't put two winning days back to back for months....frustrating. Volume is so low that I couldn't get out even if I wanted to. Feel like I'm stuck in Roach Motel!
A frustrated long....
Don't be misled.....
Mr. Boruff, please find an oil executive to run this company in Alaska and from Alaska. Your 3+M shares plus options will make you a very rich man if your ego can take a back seat and let someone experienced run the company business. Just sit back and watch your bankroll grow! We shareholders would appreciate some price appreciation.
Sam, while I appreciate your enthusiasm, after three years here, I'm ready for some price appreciation. Yes, the run to the $8's was fun but the permanent park around $5 has been less enjoyable. Some good news on the drilling front would be most welcome! Thx for keeping some factual info here!
"Cook Inlet Energy's Redoubt Shoal Field was also down, month over month, averaging 1,118 bpd in June down 9.8% from a May average of 1,239 bpd.....Cook Inlet's West McArthur River field averaged 1,287 bpd in June, down 0.5% from a. May average of 1,294 bpd."
Guess we're supposed to hear about 3 wells being drilled in Cook inlet this month. I can only pray for good news.......
