  • I just ignored political posters here and I now have about 4 blank pages. I went back that many looking for a meaningful post about GE from an investors view point. There were NONE!!!!! This is an investment board and NOT the socialists/communist/democrat/republican political forum. I was hoping some intelligent investors could give their take on the proposed deal between the French Socialist Government and GE. I was way over confident. There are no intelligent people here. At all. Just mouth breathers panting to each other their personal political bs. Over and over. Same tired rants. GE is trying to spend a lot of money on a French company to enhance their power divisions and,,,,,,,,,,,, what do I read here from the "intelligent" posters here,,,,,,,????? HAIRYBEAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the collective mind set here. RETCH!

As a devout Socialist, u don't like Gov. Walker, do you? You also must hate the stock market, I mean as a devout Socialist. Stock market is dead against the notion of dividing up things according to "neeeeed". This is a fast food company which sells food for profit. The media which has morphed mostly into a pure, social agenda driven political propaganda machine, works by broadcasting pure guilt to the socially conscious who react by joining the social religion. Climate junk religion. Race religion. Communist religion where we just HAVE to end Capitalism. They create little talking point robots who have been programmed to spout and not listen. No need for new info, it has been decided. No debate. Edict down policy to the guilt ridden who feel an immediate need to "change things". And, they do not really know why. Very conflicted angst among them.

No, it took years and neither you or Yahoo had any thing to do with him stopping or, it would have only taken 6 months. You must be new here. He has plenty of backup with all of the non-investor political posters here who are doing his work.

Yes, as I stated, after I ignore your wisdom, the past 4 pages will be empty. I only ignored the really stupid, as I find them, political posters. I found you.

  • Anyone actually own GE stock here??? Anyone??? Sorry, I do not have a political rant today, just GE info.

I bought PF because I liked their brands and management. I already owned HSH and really could not see their buying of PF as forward move. I see they would have more clout with shelf space and a diversified product list to offer stores, but, it does not make enuff sense to me. Growing brands concentrating on profits looks best for PF. I bought them for dividend and growth. Being bought out is sideways growth. I like the Tyson purchase for synergies. or, Pilgrim. Both are protein companies. I like PF for being PF. I bought PF because I had a hot flash for BG foods. Did not like what I saw with BG's debt. I am very positive for PF. If this deal falls thru, it will only point out what a great value PF has become in a very short time. Give PF more time.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

I agree dispelling negative or lackluster interest in ebix can be best achieved thru execution of good economics. Improving revenue growth and profits will go a long way to helping ebix's libeled reputation, but until the stock ownership is bought from the hands of the majority holders, we can expect an other than normal stock chart. From my simple view, buy backs and dividend increases will make ebix too valuable to new interest for the HF to manipulate. In short, ebix needs to be attractive to new investors. Thanks Stuart, for your time and sharing your thoughts.

Money in hand is money in hand. Ever eat a promise? No calories. Deals fall thru sometimes. Read about EBIX going private.

  • Whaaaa.........My politician can beat your politician. Your political party stinks and you are all fools. Never mind that GE is involved in some major transactions, it is important to spout out slogans and rants. GE? Remember GE? This is the GE investment board.

Same self serving mouth pieces (liberal media) spouting out edits from the 3rd world leaders of the United Nations, and vikkitrader (socialist mouth piece propaganda spouter), is one of their zombie talking point frogs. Did I just call someone a frog? Well, yes I did. Why? It croaks like a frog, over and over, same croak. You know vikkitrader, I have never seen you address United Nations Agenda #21. Have you ever read it? Have you ever heard of the Elberton Georgia Guide Stones? Well, if you have, what do you think about the part where they reduce the world's population from 7 billion to 1/2 billion. That is a lot of killing. Oh, it is just a statement now? Ok, wasn't "Mein Kampf", just a book. I mean, the German leader who wrote the book did not mean, or do what was written many years before the mass exterminations began? So, given the power you want the UN to have, what is going to stop them from doing what they say? Lack of power? Yep. Global Climate Power Grab Extinction Level Event looming for the NON-ELITE. Address the real issue and it is not melting ice. Why do communist HAVE to spout slogans? A religion. Pure religion, taken on faith only. Faith in 3rd world UN leaders.

I doubt that yahoo had any thing to do with getting rid of a denial of service poster who has active for years. They could have done that after the first 1,000 complaints and use of the ignore button, they did not. I have probably hit that button for "obamaloverlongtime174/obamahatesrepugs118" hundreds of times myself. That is indicated by the number after his name which after getting enuff complaints, they removed his name so he adds a higher, by 1 digit, number to the same name and same game. Wash, rinse, repeat, for years. Maybe Yahoo is finally interested in their image. lol I mean their negative image. Smells like money to me. Perception is if they can not police their own site, then they are unreliable for any venture. Like making money.

  • crewface crewface May 29, 2014 2:15 PM Flag

PF is virtually a new company and like you said, BG does not have the money. They have debt. I do disagree about the slide back for PF. The offer from HSH was real and demonstrated the value wrapped up in the PF brands profits. That has not changed with the buyer being bought out by deeper pockets. These protein producers are in flux now internationally. China bought Smithfield and now, Brazil wants to buy HSH. Tyson has to act to defend it's protein shelf space against Pilgrim Pride. Great, makes sense. PF is a winner in these deals. Great advertisement for their stock. No, I think any slide for PF will follow their basic fundamentals.

Topic title says cockroaches scurry to DUK & infiltrate protestors, then one raises his hand. "Here I am. I have strong SELL sentiment, but am here with 1 share". cmetrig, you must be Catholic like the Pope. Wants everyone to redistribute "thu wealth". Communists and liberals,,,,have never seen someone else's money that they did not corruptly conspire to steal or force spend for them. This is an investment board for profit. If you own this stock, you is conflicted, if you do not own this stock, you is a TROLL. Environmental troll.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Smug? Like holding a champagne glass over your exit hole to capture your gaseous emissions for their fragrance? You know, like on the South Park episode where they all bought a Prius and caught their farts in a glass to enjoy because theirs do not stink like everyone else in the world, except them.

Good point! or, it would have been a good point except, you assume Vikkipropagandaspouter, cares about facts. It is her religion. Based on faith only. She "feeeeeeels" the guilt put on her by propaganda power grabbers who want to control everyone, and just has to act to reduce that guilt. It will never go away vikkispouter. Why? Because, yes, yes you are guilty. It is YOUR fault. Wallow in it. Write slogans about it. Go to investor stock market boards and botch them out. Guilt.

first bought ge at 26 and then it went up to 46/sh then the bottom dropped out with ge capitol. I then bought more to dilute the under water shares. I bought a lot at between $15 and 18/sh. My first purchase was for 200 shares which are just now breaking even. The subsequent purchases added 3000 shares under $18/sh. Now this time frame does not support the, dropped ever since idea.
