Does today's volume look real? Do all of these huge volume trades actually result in shares changing hands, or are we watching fake trades drive prices down? When the sh price gets to where the manipulators want,,,,,time to buy, buy, buy.

The longer it stays under $20, the better.

I agree dispelling negative or lackluster interest in ebix can be best achieved thru execution of good economics. Improving revenue growth and profits will go a long way to helping ebix's libeled reputation, but until the stock ownership is bought from the hands of the majority holders, we can expect an other than normal stock chart. From my simple view, buy backs and dividend increases will make ebix too valuable to new interest for the HF to manipulate. In short, ebix needs to be attractive to new investors. Thanks Stuart, for your time and sharing your thoughts.

PF is going to be in play

HSH using PF as a price inflater does show the value of PF as a buyout target down the road. Looks like Blackstone has set their price at $36/sh. Many investors will realize this which will push up sh price as they buy for the future expected deal. This might increase the buyout price also above $36/sh but with the dividend they pay, no rush for me. I have a small position in both, pf and hsh.

    And the manipulators.

  • crewface crewface May 29, 2014 2:15 PM Flag

PF is virtually a new company and like you said, BG does not have the money. They have debt. I do disagree about the slide back for PF. The offer from HSH was real and demonstrated the value wrapped up in the PF brands profits. That has not changed with the buyer being bought out by deeper pockets. These protein producers are in flux now internationally. China bought Smithfield and now, Brazil wants to buy HSH. Tyson has to act to defend it's protein shelf space against Pilgrim Pride. Great, makes sense. PF is a winner in these deals. Great advertisement for their stock. No, I think any slide for PF will follow their basic fundamentals.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

I like this company even if it is not taken over

I bought PF because I liked their brands and management. I already owned HSH and really could not see their buying of PF as forward move. I see they would have more clout with shelf space and a diversified product list to offer stores, but, it does not make enuff sense to me. Growing brands concentrating on profits looks best for PF. I bought them for dividend and growth. Being bought out is sideways growth. I like the Tyson purchase for synergies. or, Pilgrim. Both are protein companies. I like PF for being PF. I bought PF because I had a hot flash for BG foods. Did not like what I saw with BG's debt. I am very positive for PF. If this deal falls thru, it will only point out what a great value PF has become in a very short time. Give PF more time.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

I just want the dividend. Oh, and this umbrella, and maybe this lamp. Oh, this thermos, a man needs a thermos. Ok, I will just take these things and go away. Uh, and maybe this can of oil. "OMG, THAT MAN HATES THESE OIL CANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Well, Stockman, I just had a cup of coffee and looked at the stock list. I then took out the dog and he #$%$ me out because he is a greedy little food eater. I am waiting for my pressure switch to send me to the bathroom. I will look at a firearms breakdown book What to buy next?? Yes, a grip screw. I will purchase a grip screw for my new makarov. Oh, for the stock newbie, a makarov is a Russian military hand gun. I will probably play in a pool tournament later tonight. There, Stockman, that is what I did today. Glad I could share with you in kind. Want to know what I am going to do tomorrow? No? Well, I agree. I do not want to know what you will do tomorrow, or, what you did today.

I think if it dropped to $14/sh right now, many will simply cash in their children's college fund and buy, buy, buy. I dug change out of the couch and car floor board, so I am ready for the drop. Oh yeah? They are mostly quarters!!! Uh, mostly...........

Yeah, but he made money for telling you to buy his client's stock. When you see his lips flying a mile a minute, you know he is lying, a mile a minute. When he pauses, he getting ready to lie. It will come out when his lips start moving again.

Notice I got thumbs down for telling the truth. NOW, do you see why I said what is posted above? If not, you is very dumb. Dumb as a down thumb. Lol. If you sold, great for you, if you are baffled because HSH is being bought by Pilgrim Pride and as terms for the deal, PF and HSH deals is KAPUT except for an exit charge to HSH. Thumb me down, dumb, down thumbers. Oh, yes, I already own HSH, so I still get the money. More, money this way.

I don't know, they seem to be pretty happy buying them. I think they are looking side ways as the meat markets are dominated by larger players. Also, I often check out shelf space by brands. The more popular brands you sell, the more clout you have in marketing with different grocery chains. The difference could be from having products only in a small portion of a giant meat section to having shelf space in many different sections. Like yours,,,,,,,,,,pure speculation.

Good point! or, it would have been a good point except, you assume Vikkipropagandaspouter, cares about facts. It is her religion. Based on faith only. She "feeeeeeels" the guilt put on her by propaganda power grabbers who want to control everyone, and just has to act to reduce that guilt. It will never go away vikkispouter. Why? Because, yes, yes you are guilty. It is YOUR fault. Wallow in it. Write slogans about it. Go to investor stock market boards and botch them out. Guilt.

Same self serving mouth pieces (liberal media) spouting out edits from the 3rd world leaders of the United Nations, and vikkitrader (socialist mouth piece propaganda spouter), is one of their zombie talking point frogs. Did I just call someone a frog? Well, yes I did. Why? It croaks like a frog, over and over, same croak. You know vikkitrader, I have never seen you address United Nations Agenda #21. Have you ever read it? Have you ever heard of the Elberton Georgia Guide Stones? Well, if you have, what do you think about the part where they reduce the world's population from 7 billion to 1/2 billion. That is a lot of killing. Oh, it is just a statement now? Ok, wasn't "Mein Kampf", just a book. I mean, the German leader who wrote the book did not mean, or do what was written many years before the mass exterminations began? So, given the power you want the UN to have, what is going to stop them from doing what they say? Lack of power? Yep. Global Climate Power Grab Extinction Level Event looming for the NON-ELITE. Address the real issue and it is not melting ice. Why do communist HAVE to spout slogans? A religion. Pure religion, taken on faith only. Faith in 3rd world UN leaders.

    Volume compared to market

    by crewface May 16, 2014 12:32 PM

What would happen if individual stock holders call the doj and ask about the ebix investigation? Would they answer, hang up, not answer the phone, have the IRS audit you, investigate YOU? It would seem to be a fair question as they have inserted themselves in the market as a tool of short interest. I wonder if the DOJ has an investor relations department? If they do not, it would be a good chance to create MORE government jobs. Maybe they could hire the chicken man, he seems "honest".

  • At noon, volume across the board is very high, in some cases already double normal daily volume, but not ebix. Why? Because ebix is a "kept" stock. I also wonder what it cost to instigate a doj investigation? Just a complaint? I doubt it. It seems the doj is open to "rubber stamp" a company for shorts. The rubber stamp seems to be made of indelible ink.

I will second that, dividend coming soon. Oh, and I forgot, political rant, here. Oh, I forgot to pick a side. Ok, I double rant, one for each side. There I feel relevant now.
