So in various article produced by an interview with Greg Mason of KBW prospect accounting is still being questioned.

I realize English can be a difficult language to read , write and comprehend but the errors are grotesque.

"Prospect will have to restate earnings going forward"

Folks if the earnings period IS IN THE FUTURE, it is not a "restatement".

Mr. Mason, nobody has guidance as to what earnings will be in Q1 2015, the accounting changes provided by the Nov 2013 ASU guidance will be applied to Q1 2015. As you were told on the Q3 call it does not in any way effect EARNINGS. NII becomes less meaningful in relationship to GAAP as there will be more management fees(Portfolio size, Assets) and less(Incentive fees).

Since you are a professional Analyst please refrain from further damaging management by questioning PAST ACCOUNTING when the SEC has deemed the accounting EFFECTIVE under GAAP.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

SEC should investigate trading by law firms

I reported this to the SEC, you can too by using help at sec.gov.

I agree 100% that it is likely the law firms via hedge funds were shorting hence the multitude(piling on). One class action covers all shareholders and the Court would have ultimately joined the parties into one.

Had just one or two firms announced , fine but dozens? The price was absolutely manipulated down. Ultimately you face the same conundrum. At this point the Hedge funds, law firms likely "DID NOT PROFIT"

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
