Yes the spin-offs have been in the works for over 1 year. Some 9 months or so.
    1. Selling off Low Yield assets into a CEF(over a year)
    2. CLO spin (9 months)
    3. Online lending 6 months( LC rise good indicator) .

The buying has been very aggressive and cannot be overlooked as a "sideshow".

The lowered dividend came months before they needed to announce , the lack of transparency here likely forced the BOD to declare early in order to complete details of the spin-off by 2015. Q2 earnings are in Feb 15.

Capturing the next two .1105 and .1106 should be important for new owners to improve yield even further.

    BDC's are again hammered today

Well the share buy back was approved by shareholders, it seems to me now is the time.
Getting the PPS back to NAV to resume ATM sales most certainly would allow them to make MORE MONEY then having limited access to capital.

Thank you for your recent purchase.
That was impressive considering you put out more capital than all your prior purchases combined.
The pundits here keep babbling that the management uses monopoly money to buy shares, or rather its a show.

I know better, I know you believe, I know your money is equal to mine, as a fellow shareholder, hats off.

Please consider implementing the share buyback. We have a 100 million dollar plan in place. Now is the time.

    Thank you,

False. The monies are put to work generating cash returns which contribute to dividend sustainability. The money taken out of NAV initially is replaced with yeild producing assets ranging from 8 to 40%.
