I guess one of you better keep their snorkel to the grindstone...."how can she earn the $'s back?" I'm sure you'll get a lot of help from this board on that ?
I'll stick by my prediction. Bankruptcy is in Tesla's future.... in the long run, I'll be right and you'll be... delusional as usual. JTF maam.
Evidently you're one of them...
If you like Tesla you should be jumping all over it at $ 253, it's selling for a 9% discount from Friday's close. What a bargain, load up. You're kids will thank you (errr maybe not).
As Don Meridith used to sing at the end of the MNF games.... "turn out the lights, the party's over... all good scams, must come to an end" ... or something like that. I think you get the idea.
JTF (what a misnomer btw), let me dumb it down for ye. Tesla will go bankrupt. Period. All the Kings horses and all the Kings men, won't be able to put Tesla back together again. Translation: all the financial engineering and BS are no substitute for building a better product that people can afford. Period, end of story. Is that dumb enough?
I love the logic... Elon has his own money invested... ergo... there's no way this business can fail. Almost 99.9% of small businesses fail and the owners lose their investment.... why should Elon be any different?
I guess the "market" didn't like my giga parking lot theory.... thus the $ 15 down move. Didn't realize I had such influence.... now if I can just use my powers to make you disappear!
Given the massive sales reversal combined with their new and improved assembly line, it makes sense to me now why they chose Nevada for their giggle factory. NV has ample space to lay asphalt for their giga-parking lot. The giga parking lot is needed to "stash" their excess inventory away from their factory. After all, you can't have 3,000 unsold cars sitting outside the door of your factory can you? That would look.... wierd, if the analysts showed up and asked a reasonable question like, "hey, what are all these cars?" Telling them it was the employees parking lot worked when there were only 200-300 unsold cars worked, but it's hard to hide 2000 - 3000.
The mafia proved decades ago that you can hide a lot of problems out in the dessert. Maybe Dirty Harry can buy a few for his collection.
Coach, thanks for the information. Just curious though, how did the AN sales numbers through June 30 reconcile to what the company reported for the same six months? Did you look compare the two by any chance to see if they were close?
You didn't #$%$ me off kkkolbutthead. Based on your use of the English language and sentence structure, I'd bet the closest your ever got to playing chess was playing checkers on the same board. Checkmate kkkolbutthead.
Not just any "law firm" - a very exclusive one. I think Kenneth Lay is also a partner (1942-2006). He too, was one of the "smartest guys in the room".....
Great analysis. Here's another predicion:
Assuming the giggle factory is built, the only way they'll be able to produce batteries cheap enough to "maybe" be able to compete with ICE vehicles is if the plant is fully automated. That means no jobs for NV. Certainly not in the 5-6K range. Maybe a few programmers and maintenance people and a couple of security guards. Oh, and a few people to work in the company food court.
Yeah, that will be a great deal for NV all right. $ 1.2B in tax savings (from real estate taxes I guess) vs a couple hundred jobs. Woo hoo! Stick to what you know NV, gambling and prostitution!! Oh,,,, I guess you did, didn't you?
#$%$, maybe you just need to pull your head out of your ...s or look up from your ipad once in a while or put down your video game and read a newspaper. You may be surprised to see that kalifornication just got passed by new jersey as the most livable state.
JM, peak oil is a myth. We're finding more and more in the US due to enhanced drilling techniques and the vast majority of it is coming from existing fields (not new discoveries). The Gulf is still untapped and the Mexican Gulf is just now being leased for exploration. Can you imagine the additional production from Saudi Arabia when it becomes economically necessary for them to enhance their prodution?
Conservation and making smaller vehicles would go a lonnnnng way to push off well into the future. the day we as a planet start getting low on oil. Even then, natural gas would be the next best alternative, not electricity.
The whole EV scam reminds me of the idea of try to put a square peg in a round hole. It just doesn't fit. EVs are not more efficient or economical but the environmental kooks are going to ram it down our throats via subsidies and corruption whether we like it or not. IMO, if it was the best technology, it would have already been adopted and the people would be voting with their wallets. It isn't and it will never replace ICE vehicles.... too expensive.
