i do not agree with this analogy. The better one is about the flat earthers and the scientific community. For the very few who knew and proved that the earth revolved around the sun to be more specific, how long was it that the rest of the world came into agreement? a very long time. Indeed,Galileo Galilei, who championed these concepts, was actually tortured by the Powers that Be into admitting that he was wrong...
pretty sure about this. sad to say. pretty sure
it is due mainly to there being so many moving parts with DECN, so it is understandable I suppose
"in the room the women come and go /
Talking of Michelangelo."
30 million dollar market cap. hilarious.
the way to fix it is through information, as in, we are knocking the ball out of the park with SCI patients, and introducing a new SOC, which they are...... Now, today's news is exactly what the doctor ordered. a 66% conversion rate speaks loudly. As this company establishes a SOC. and once established, doctors must get these patients into a certified center and get the procedure done ASAP.
has the company put forth their calculation or alternative calculations on the 400 to 700M in requested damages?... tia
a pittance compared to where we are going. Basic value. No need for hype or PR's. Let the market reappraise the company. It surely will. Funny thing is, while the market is always right over long periods of time, it is very very often wrong in the interiim, as it scrambles like a chicken with its head cut off, bouncing around.
The market is woefully misinformed about decn..
johnces, get yourself a mistress; they don't care two phoucks about a checkbook and nagging about balancing things out. It is all about cash with them.
don't understand your response. you are saying a party in that circuit must ask for an en banc hearing? is that really true? but if so, the result is the same, an in the victor is the recipient of en banc ruling from the entire circuit.
Your comment about me not being trusted with a checkbook is actually quite true! I have a bookkeeper and also rely on the clerks in the first instance. I am not a coupon clipping type of person. Do you want to do my checkbook entries for me? I will pay above market rates, cash up front btw.
knocking the socks off of patients, imho. He knows all the data by now. If the drug was failing, he would not be yapping. ................but he is yapping. He is singing like a canary........
1. the final affirm by the Federal Circuit court, en banc, which is additionally significant, as most appellate courts at the state and federal level do not sit in banc. En banc decisions tend to be much stronger and more definitive. This exclamation point puts more wind at the victor's back in other forums.
In law, an en banc session is a session in which a case is heard before all the judges of a court (before the entire bench) rather than by a panel selected from them.
2. The very staggering but logical case filed by Decn from a national law firm well known in this area.
3. The rebirth and reemergence of DECN as a commerical entity, now able, finally, to ply its wares in a multi billion dollar marketplace, with the best product in that market place.
4. All set against the currently squashed share price due to years of oppression from what is in effect, due to its resources and lititgation tool....................all set against a near monopoly in the form of Johnson and Johnson.
To be free, finally, and to have vanquished this monopoly company, is something the stock market has yet to appreciate.
REMEMBER, IT TAKES TIME FOR NEWS TO TRAVEL TO POTENTIAL BUYERS OF THE SHARES, IN THE MARKET PLACE.............GIVE IT TIME................and over time, with patience, the stock simply must rise to not only approximate what it might have become, over the past 4 years, but to also now own an entirely different asset: the lawsuit for 400 to 700 million in claims, which is 20X the current market cap of the entire company..........................Think about it. I also think today's news, and specifically the comments of the study director in avxl, qualifies as substantive news in avxl.
yes, i am responsible in some amorphous way, but really it is only my neuro connection to people like you especially, and chem, genz, whiskey and many, many others from anavex, nviv, etc.....the true opinion leaders high IQ science people. The market is very fickle. But still, heavy is the head that wears the crown, so we must be what we are, regardless................
"There is death a dozen times over down the river," so said Charles ALLNUT, aka Humphrey Bogart, to Catherin Hepburn, in the movie The Amazon Queen. love this great work of art.
I am not in this Dad for the thrill of the chase. I cannot trade worth squat.
As an analogy to anavex owners: Avxl was trashed and burned for 2 to 3 years, before precisely one year ago, when it arose, like a phoenix from the dead. The company itself and its science had continued unabated, but the management was horrible, all the while, beneath the surface, the science continued to build. I saw the sponsorship of the science, as reflected by those continuing to sign on, and that, combined with the new ceo, told me it was wildly undervalued. I bought hand over fist, blah blah. Here we have in DECN, imho, an analogous situation: We have a company which has been trashed to death by J and J, a bully gorrilla, and left for dead. The problem J and J did not count on is the tenacity of management, and the good lawyers they hired, and once again, the underlying patents and science of the product, which is and has been, ready for actual sales, sales that Wallmart and wallgreeen and others, would love to promote. So the suffocation here has been equally intense, perhaps more so, as what happened to anavex. Key to this was the Federal Circuit court's recent decision in favor of DECN, kicking the thugs bullies out of court, and letting our Case, which appears very strong, to go on to a trial, if there is no settlement. The second asset we are getting, and which existed before the suffocation, is our company itself and its superior technology. Management must feel we would be at 250M or more market cap, but for the attempted, ongoing 4 year rape by J and J. So I think we are getting a fabulous price here on both counts..................etc.....I realize every owner of a stock thinks theirs is undervalued, and so do I here. Let's get the market cap up there several times, and reassemble the past 4 years of suffocation. We new owners are very lucky, but the owners of this stock throughout this ordeal, have been very very unlucky.
I wish I was smart but alas, am not. I am honest, too dumb to be otherwise. I have been buying with both fists the last three days. I put out my buy rec on the avxl board late thursday. At the time I did so, I had about 175K shares, purchased the prior several days. I was learning about the company, as I was buying, and I bought a lot more on friday. My tipster on this company was a doctor who had told me to buy it several weeks earlier, and like a chump, I ignored him. As the stock appreciated, he emailed me again.............so..........Forget the messenger, do the DD on the company.
My basic premise is that stocks move on a fundamental event, basically. AVXL moved on several events in the spring and summer of last year. CTIX moved on several events regarding K and B (not P at all, which is the darkhorse here....). Most recently, in the little micro world of stocks, the circuit court en banc just affirmed a huge ruling in favor of decn. This opens up a 400 to 700 lawsuit against J and J, and also permits the company to start building and partnering into a market which is estimated, by the year 2022 to be over 20 billion per year.................will the company get there tomorrow? NADA, but at the current cap, it is many times undervalued. take a shot. IT IS SO EARLY. more to follow, later.
