You are going to be wrong again, as usual. If you recall I sold my shares at 34.50 and will soon be purchasing them back. What has happened at Kansas Southern, if like comparing apples to oranges. Need to get out of that lobster pot, so you can see the trees from the forest.
Look at a ten plus year chart, as long as Carlos is CEO commodity cycles do not apply as he is incapable of running a company.
NG is the new energy supply for power plants, coal is dead, Mexico increasing imports as oil too much to power their plants too, then we have LNG exports coming on line, CHK is well positioned to take advantage. Can see them buying a SD or such on the cheap that would dramatically increase their oil production. They could buy SD with stock and use 3 billion of their cash to retire debt, the SD properties with FCF would fund capex, no brainer.
Knucklehead's need money, this is not a cheap business venture. Nobody is going to continue giving their production for a loss or little profit. Weak hands will go BK or get acquired and supply/demand will be rebalanced.
This hit S & P price target of 5.50 today, it was trading at 6.40 at time of target. I would be a buyer at 4.10pps
Sorry wrong, checked and basis is 16.49pps, very very happy here to double soon.
I own 2500 shs and waiting to double, this is not a train wreck, but rather an opportunity
