Exactly, because you have confidence in VIPS will go up. So you still need to find a GOOD stock. If you do not have a good stock and with those calls and with decade, you can loose tons.

Buffett is rich rich...we all know. Does he know a chart, no!! He said that. So to say to build wealth YOU TRADE is so narrow minded.
What wealth for one person is different than wealth for the next one. What does it take to build wealth. Is a person happy while building wealth????

How about your capital gains, etc.

It is a complex matter so I will stop here...

I really believe we can do both but day trading is not for everyone. You are one of few. When we invest in longterm we need to do homework and plan to change our strategies. So to say that giovanie is stupid is unfair.
I know some people who lost everything from day trading. They learned and worked hard but could not make it, so sad.

We are all different . What works for one, may not work for others.

Thank you for your post. I have a core holding of VIPS since about $35 and do swing trade some. I do believe in china eCommerce, Internet .

Invested in IEP years ago, not doing well this year.

I totally agree. I bought one stock and helped paid off my house years ago, sold 4500 shares when it went up about 50% from ipo time. I still own many shares. Those shares now up about 800% more since I sold that batch.
I used to day trade and scalping 300 shares of BIDU AAPL PCLN many times daily. I had 5 screens in front of me. Now I have an iPad to post and one screen. Spend more time to do research, post to help/exchange ideas.
Scaling is not the way to get rich. We can win one big day and loose another day. Sounds simple but very stressful...Most importantly is we Forgot to MANAGE our bottom lines...Including non-equity assets.

I sold AAPL at $78 and kept trading. Well, much stress to hold. GOOGL is my longterm hold because I can not live without GOOG. I invest now in alternative energy solar, TSLA. Also in 3D. Always diversify and not all in one basket.

    Thank you for sharing.
Like you, I still day trade, swing trade some, but ONLY some.

IF IF IF he believes in XONE. I DO NOT recommend any stocks. Depends on his own plan, strategy. Proud of myself and NEVER shamed of myself. You should because you LOVE to push people down when they are trying to be helpful. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!!!
Too bad, why do I waste my time to repond to you..hope you learn a thing or two in life and change to be a better contributor to the society...

    IGNORE for sure..this rime.

Cabin, XONE is an investment for your Roth IRA. After you do homework and believe in the huge potential of 3D sector then add some when it drops. Just like we added GOOGL when it was $80 (shorted by Citron at this price) before splits. Stay focus on looking for next investments, or trading if you have a tradingorfolio. Do not mess up with your Roth IRA. Buffett's wife of 21 years kept adding SPY to her 401K slowly. Yes, his ex-wife.

The chairman of Swab also invest in SPY for his 401K.

You can have a diversified IRA depends on your age. A small % in the game changer like 3D and solar, some biotech. You need to do tons of homework to keeps up. MANAGING your bottom lines. NOT trading, hit and run. You never retire early that way. Having some stocks helps us to study and understand the market. Like when market drops a lot then double down SPY because overtime SPY is safe. Yes, war? The end of the world? Set stop losses...

Plan BEGIN WITH AN END IN MIND.. For example, what age do you want to be financially independent? What life style? Come up with a number and plan backward..it works, ot works it works ...do not listen to posters on MBs. I am showing you a methodology, a strategy that worked so well for me, and my friends, relatives. I am not telling to buy buy buy, short short short. Whoever says they are so good and right here need to spend more time to manage their portfolios, bottom lines...Buffett doesn't know TA at all.

Good luck. From your post, I think you are still young. Begin early and you will be happy.

Yes, we all can learn a tips here and there from posters but be aware that yahoo MBs is a jungle of people. Good bad ugly and..abuser ...good luck to all.

    Take care.

    Have-faith,
Too bad you opened an account with Scottrade. Trade station and IBD are much better for traders. You can program and back testing data using your TA stategy. It can tell the accuracy of your systems/strategy. It can automate your trades or alert you. Very fun and challenging .

It is good that not many knows VIPS JD QUNR ATHM CCIH, etc..just like AMZN GOOGL the old days.

To me, when my strategy is simple, the chance of making is easier. I learned a number of years ago from a program I purchased from a very successful trader, he used only a few indicators. How did he put it..the more analysts, the paralysis .

After all of these years investing and trading, the best way of building wealth is when we buy a stock, we buy a business for it's longterm growth, sustainable growth.

Then using TA to trade ETFs...can be very profitable.

Good luck to all of us. Be strong and have confidence in our homework...

    80% more to go.....

  • cybercash28 by cybercash28 Jul 1, 2014 5:23 PM Flag

To interview the analyst from S&P catitals. Do not short DDD!!
And Fast Money recommended XONE as the highest buyout potential.
To me, DDD SSYS XONE VJET are all take over targets where they like it or not.

Yes, design, prototyping has great potential but trillions ssss will be in the MASS manufacturing. Be patient with 3D investments and will be rewarded in a big way. Did you get in GOOGL at $50 to $80 before split??

Invest in game changers..changing the way we live , for the better.

Invest in VIPS is not about squeeze but about huge growth of Ecommerce in china and VIPS leadership. We do not VIPS to be acquired, just BIDU can get 15% or so. Good partnership for marketing, etc.,

Bosle, invest in 3D sector. They will ALL going higher, to new high and beyond..$1T to $10T market potential.. 3D now is just started like Internet 10 years ago.
Read posts from Ogewen. He knows 3D sector by heart, more than even analysts...

I see clearly M&A , got to be, just makes sense..
