It sure seem likely to get approved. Milestones and royalties should cause a pop, especially with such a large short position. Insiders appear to be buying big time, so it all makes sense.
How many people put half of their wealth into one investment. Frost And Hsiao really believe in OPKO, and they have put their money up to prove it. I have 6 thousand shares or so, and I feel comfortable letting Frost do his thing. His track record is stellar.
Hey, I would want to have the 4K-Score test rather than a biopsy. I think the fact that it is a long term predictor of the course of cancer progression is invaluable. I believe they mentioned it can look 20 years out.
Appears to be going up nicely on good volume. I expect OPK is way oversold, and a couple dollar snap back would not be unreasonable.
in early Sept. With milestones and earnings tied to approval, seems like this beaten down puppy would rebound nicely on the news. We shall see. Between the nasty market and OPK's own issues, I expect we have seen a bottom set. Remaining short is certainly much more risky when the stock was $19. OPK isn't unique as many biotechs have been beaten down on no news. CLDX, for example, has been punished even more.
Frost's letter was great, but his recent purchases of aprox. 750K shares is the most reassuring message he could possibly send. I expect OPK will firm up with an FDA approval scheduled for early Sept.
Great update. It sure make me feel better about OPK's prospects. Sept. 5 could be a very nice day with approval and milestones announce.
The only problem with that is that Col. Jacobs said he never talked to Trump. He has seen him at functions and parties, but that's it. I guess Trump watches TV where Col. Jacobs is a military analyst for NBC and MSNBC. Now would Trump be watching MSNBC if he was a true conservative? What's wrong with the Fox military analysts. But hey, it could be worse. Trump could have cited Col. Klink as his military advisor. I believe the Donald was a big fan of Hogan's Heroes. I love seeing you guys have to swallow hard and try to defend this caricature of a presidential candidate. He is the one guy Biden could actually run against and not have to worry about saying anything outrageous.
The banks reorganized the loans because they didn't want to have to run a casino or take over Trump's other holding that were under water. They BAILED Trump out because it was the only way they thought they might get some of their money back. Kinda like what our government did just recently with Bush's financial catastrophe. Weren't you tea pee types against that! I think so. So now you want to support a buffoon who ran his business interests into the ground to a reported tune of $5 billion, and was only saved from bankruptcy because 70 banks agreed to bail him out. Interesting that you guys don't find your blatant hypocrisy just the least bit comical. But hey, I really doubt that Trump will get the nomination. The question is will the GOP let him bring their party down with him.
Interesting that Trump had to beg Japanese banks to participate in this bailout. He has been bragging about how he will set the world straight, but in his own business life, he only avoided bankruptcy back then because Japanese banks participated in his bailout deal.
I guess the rest of the world must be in on this sabotage of world peace also. Why would the major powers of the world spend so long negotiating a deal if it gave Iran the ability to do everything they wanted. Such a simpleton! Don't forget Ben Nety claimed Iran was months away from a nuke something like a decade ago. Seems like his prediction was a little off! Just like yours!
Trump won't like Americans paying more. It should be a very simple solution for Trump. Americans are not losers, and we should pay the same or even less than others! I can't wait to hear him speak on the subject.
If there was no bailout, Trump apparently would have gone belly up! I guess he just took advantage of the system. LOL
This week's Barron's reported that BMY charges Americans $150K for Opdivo while it only charges Europeans $100K. Hmmm! Wait until someone brings this to the Donald's attention. He has blamed immigrants and the Chinese for ripping off America. I get the feeling that drug companies will be next on his list. Now this is a topic I think I will agree with Trump on!
