Frank is full of himself among other things. His credibility is evident by the number of negative ratings he gets per post. And those are just from people who haven't already put him on ignore. His rantings are good for a chuckle now and then.
Fraz, I never claimed to be and endo, but as I projected, today's news was not good and the price reacted accordingly.
And thank God. Refusing to fund our Homeland Security at a time when we are under so many terrorist threats is the height of irresponsibility. It would have also been political death for Boehner and his buddies if we suffered an attack if they had actually refused to fund our security. Makes you wonder what Boehner's and his buddies' priorities are when they will do anything for Israel, but they would expose our citizens to the danger of a terrorist attack. Nothing but politics at it worst, right Frank!
according to Schaffer's trading floor blog. Now that could make a stock go down if true.
Anyone who says different is dumber than hell!
The irony is that the shorts seem to be clinging to their positions even as their wallets are being seriously emptied. Their loss, our gain.
Hey Fraz, yet you support your tea party heroes in the House who don't want to fund our Homeland Security. If the US goes up in flames who will forgive the House tea partiers and guys like you Frank than?!?! OK, I think I have played around with Frankie too much this A.M. Time to be an adult and take care of business.
There is a Value Walk release out that cites the March 2 edition of The Medical Letter. In short, it refers to Afrezza as being only modestly effective, and cites that the long term pulmonary safety of inhaling insulin is unknown. There is some other stuff, but this appeared to be the most negative. If I was an endocrinologist, I would find this rather alarming. For what its worth! Good luck.
Man, did I blow this one. EPRS doubled and is up again big in pre-market. Oh well, my EMC jumped a couple of bucks, but it ate up a lot of my capital to buy what I bought. At least I held onto my PFE despite Fraz's recommendations to sell. PFE has been making new highs and is paying me a great dividend to sit tight.
We were down big time yesterday in PM. It is how we end that counts. Frost has helped me make quite a bit, so I am happy to let him do his thing. Investing takes a little mental toughness and discipline.
How many biotechs have close to $400 million in cash and cash equivalents at its disposal.
Check the Form 4 that was just released. I totaled it up quickly in my head and his purchases were in the neighborhood of 45K shares. He appeared to buy right up to the high of the day. I love this guys style and belief in his company and investment. I can't believe people would short OPK when Frost is putting his knowledge and billions behind it.
Now that the earnings and conference call are out of the way, I expect the good doc will start buying OPK stock as aggressively as ever. Raladay and 4kscore look like big winners in the coming months and years. OPK should become a very attractive target for big pharma, especially PFE. Enjoy the ride.
I called in to Cramer's show and was on the air two times a few years back. I found his show to be very orchestrated. I emailed a question, and then a producer type called back to discuss my question. The first time I was on, my question was used pretty much as I emailed it in. The second time, the producer called me and tried to get me to change my question because Cramer wanted to talk about something else. I told them that my question was my question, and I wasn't going to change it. Cramer basically blew my question off on the air, and immediately went in to the topic he wanted to talk about. The guy wants you to think that he knows all there is, but from my experience with his show, his people have everything set up for him hours in advance. I haven't bother to call since, and I only watch his show for a few minutes while I channel surf for something better.
Shorts still seem to be standing out on a ledge. What exactly do they think will drive OPK shares lower? Today's news was about as positive as it can get.
