Kansas Rep. Tim Huelskamp admitted he has signed up with ObamaCare even though he has repeatedly condemned the Affordable Healthcare Plan. He is not mandated by law to participate, and he could have bought his insurance on the open market, but he just couldn't pass up the government subsidy. So much for principles. A few dollars evidently is all it take to get these tea party types to quietly participate in a plan they constantly condemn.
I don't know what the $ potential will be, but the fact that BRLX claims they can achieve a desired result in just one procedure is great for patients, doctors, and insurance companies. Why would anyone want to undergo multiple procedures when one would be just as effective. IMHO. I also like the fact that Novartis has taken a stake in the company. How often can we buy a company for so cheap after a pharma giant like Novartis has validated their science and strategy. Good luck!
I thought Teddy would need at least a few days to embarrass himself after he announced his run for president. It appears he only needed a few hours.
Cruz will add a lot of drama to the Republican primaries. The Republicans are probably hoping that Chris Christie will tell him to sit down and shut up. The primaries should be a real circus that will allow mainstream America to see what these tea party types really stand for.
chi, funny how these shorts can keep posting their nonsense in the face of OPK's stock performance over the last five years. I have made tens of thousands of dollars being long OPK, and even if it took a 10% drop, I would still be ahead on the thousands of shares I still own. These guys probably are just playing with monopoly money. If they really were short, their losses would be astronomical, and their loses would have snapped them back to reality if they had any smarts at all.
BLRX. BLRX recently announced a deal with Novartis and the stock spiked. The company used the spike to issue shares which beat the stock down just below $2. It is now starting to rebound. I bought a few thousand shares on the dip. I am not telling you to buy it because what do I know, but you might want to check it out as it is priced attractively and they appear to now have plenty of cash to fund their research. IMHO. Good luck!
All Frost has to do is say he is exploring strategic options for OPK, and I expect we could easily jump a couple of bucks. Frost is not a young man, so I expect he will work his magic with OPK sooner rather than later. IMHO.
