A solid pipeline and the constant buying of Dr. Frost make OPK a rather safe bio-tech to park your money in. $8 has provided solid support for quite some time. Rayaldee approval in the near future can't hurt.
11 cents per share!!!!!! I believe we were amused that you were so upset about a drop of 11 cents. Now if you had 100,000 shares, 11 cents would equal $11,000. I guess that's a sizeable sum, but if you had the money to buy so many shares in the first place, an 11 cent loss per share is rather insignificant. I guess you are a day trader who can't cope with taking a loss now and then. Sounds like you are a CD kind of guy rather than a day trader. I view OPK as a buy and hold stock, so even though I hold thousands of shares, I don't sweat 11 cents at all. Good luck with your investing.
Fraz, we all know how Bush's war worked out even after he quickly called it "mission accomplished." If you want more, get your buns over there with your tea bag loud mouths who are not willing to put their chips on the line, but are more than willing to send someone else to do their fighting.
Glad to see we are punishing ISIS with the aid of other Muslim countries in the area. The bad guys, whoever they are at the moment, need to be opposed by a credible coalition including their own people if the Middle East is ever going to have a semblance of stability.
Down a whole 11 cents! I wonder how you were able to sleep at night. Too funny for words! Put your money under your bed or bury it in the back yard.
Well, as far as I know, the good doctor is alive and well and buying thousands of shares of OPK just about every day. If he were to die as we all must one day, I expect OPK would quickly go into play. Since he just about controls the company at this point, if something were to happen to him, I expect private equity and other large pharmas would sweep in and try to acquire OPK and its attractive assets and pipeline. Although I fully expect OPK to grow gradually over time with Dr. Frost, his demise might actually cause a quick pop on takeover speculation. IMHO.
Seems like he is ramping up his buying. Bullish signal to me, but for some, it signals the time to short more. I see the makings for a wonderful short squeeze down the road in the not too distant future.
I used today's drop to buy a little more. All sides have too much to lose for a deal not to be reached. IMHO.
I plan to let things work out, but I am very pleased that all the news being reported is pointing to a deal being done or close to being done. Both sides have a lot to gain if a compromise can be reached.
The guys who shoot up schools and kill teachers, kids, and police with automatic weapons are almost always white males. The guys who kill cops, like the recent shooting by a survivalist, are almost always white. Sometimes that's just the way it happens.
I believe I just read where the University of Florida quarterback, a white kid from NJ, was released after two DWI's. Reportedly the kid had other problems as well.
Frost's history is to buy, build, and sell. He has done it a number of times, and it has made him a billionaire. He isn't getting any younger, so I don't expect that he will drag this out for too long!
We couldn't tell the good guys from the bad guys. How's that, you twerp. ISIL is so strong because of all the weapons they captured from the Iraqis and the moderate groups they overran. Giving sophisticated weapons out freely can cause them to fall into the wrong hands and get used against us.
His pace seems to have picked up to between 100k - 200k a week. As time goes on, there are less and less shares to short. If I was Frost, once I had full control, I would announce that I was hiring a firm to seek out my best options for OPK. The stock would skyrocket into the double digits in my opinion. Frost is no dope, and he keeps buying because he has a plan to make big bucks with OPK. IMHO.
13 Embassy and consulate attacks during the Bush years resulted in at least 60 deaths. So, according to you, it is only 2 Americans to 4 Americans because the non Americans working in or protecting our embassies or consulates don't count. Kinda reminds me of when slaves counted as part of a person for representation purposes pre Civil War. It makes sense that Frank and his tea bags would think that way because their views of other groups dates back to the 1800's.
Whip, you are probably happy about the groups you said had the biggest increases in their waistlines. They are some of the groups you and your buddies routinely try to mock and degrade.
The research I did said MNKD's deal was not so good. It should also take until next year to show what kind of success they will have. No reason to rush in and make a rookie buy on the hype.
All these people were representing America in foreign lands. We were not at war with all the countries where these people were attacked and killed. So Bush had no responsibility to keep all are embassies and consulates safe according to you? What a load of crap! If Obama had such a terrible record on the number of attacks and deaths, you guys would be all over him. Hypocrites!
