Man, there appears to be no stopping OPK. If we get above $15, I expect shorts will panic and propel the stock even higher. Now, shorts have endured the pain for many months, so I could be wrong about them finally realizing their predicament. I guess some people just like donating their $ to others. I'll take it if it makes them happy.
Just my expectation. Now that the offering is fully subscribed, the uncertainty of the situation has been removed. BLRX is loaded with cash, and we can hopefully look forward to some positive test results. I also own a chunk of OPKO, another Israeli biotech. I wonder if Dr. Frost has noticed BLRX. The companies might be an interesting fit. IMHO. Good luck!
Looks like the company had no trouble selling their shares. The buyers got a nice discount initially, but now they are underwater just like many of us. The buyers were obviously convinced that BLRX's prospects were worth the investment. The stock should have a strong support base around the $2 level once the disappointment with dilution wanes and good news takes its place. IMHO.
Shorts are evidently heading for the exits in record numbers. I believe this info. was for the period up till the end of Feb. I would imagine the trend would be continuing based on OPK's ability to stay above $14, and Dr. Shorts near daily buying. I just don't see any reason why someone would bet good money on OPK going down. IMHO. Good luck.
Makes sense to me. If OPK didn't go down after the CC, I don't see any impetus to take the stock down anytime soon. Shorts are playing a dangerous game that will only cost them much more down the road. IMHO.
It appears a tetanus shot stimulates the immune system and helps prolong life when combined with an experimental treatment. It put the "immune system on high alert" and helped the experimental treatment for the most common and deadly form of brain cancer. The experimental treatment wasn't identified in the article I read. A follow-up study was being planned. I just had a friend die of brain cancer in his early sixties. He went to MD Anderson for treatment, but he survived only 7 months after diagnosis. What a wonderful thing it would be if something as simple, safe, and inexpensive as a tetanus shot would help successfully treat brain cancer.
The shorts should have made their money and moved on by now. Shorting down here seems to be more than a little risky.
slowly begin to rise. The market has aggressively brought the stock price down and new support has been set in the low $2 range. There are obviously more shares outstanding, but BRLX is now very well capitalized and their pipeline is loaded with potential. With the threat of dilution in the rear view mirror, I took a fairly large position in BRLX, and I fully anticipate good things will happen in the coming months and years. IMHO. Good luck!
He appears to be buying personal shares daily. I believe other entities in which he has an interest have also been buying. I imagine he can call the shots with OPKO with all the shares he controls. With his connections and savvy, I plan on sitting on my shares and letting him do his thing.
I believe the bottom was set Friday. If you believed in the company, the only thing that has changed is that they sold some shares for a little less than we thought they should have. With the cash they now have, we shouldn't have to worry about dilution for quite some time. I am content to let the company do its thing, and I took Friday's drop as a nice opportunity to buy shares. IMHO.
BLRX took advantage of that and issued shares. I don't know why they priced the shares so low, but I used the drop to take a position. BLRX now has plenty of money, and the future looks bright.
No I didn't. I just took a position today. It is an Israeli biotech that just did a deal with Novartis. It took the good news and sold some shares, hence the large drop today. I have found that a stock drop due to issuing shares is usually temporary if the company is a good company. As you must know if you invest in biotechs, this happens all the time. I didn't say you should buy it. I said it, "Might be worth a look."
I think the bottom is in. After today's drop which took out many stops, BRLX should stabilize and start to rebound. Don't forget, the guys who are buying all these shares must believe they are making a good investment.
I like BRLX and the company is now loaded with cash. The dilution issue should be gone for quite some time. The company still has the same prospects it had before, and now it is financially set for quite some time. If I had bought higher, I would be in here buying the dip to get my cost average down and take advantage of what I see as a gift. IMHO. Good luck!
