13.5% is probably 13.5% more than Trump paid. That's why he won't release his returns. Some years he paid $0.
Donald shoots his mouth off and then tries to squirm out of what he said. Just what we don't need in a president who has to show tremendous restraint and patience to deal with difficult leaders and situations. Donald is a crybaby, and his first responses and reactions are usually child-like and pathetic.
A great day? He looked like he was having a meltdown at the press conference when he was asked to document the charitable contributions he said he had made, but only made last week when the papers began to question his word. Then his own managers of Trump University say his school was basically a fraud. So what does Trump do, he attacks the judge presiding over the case. I guess the judge made Trump's own managers testify under oath that his school was a sham. Pathetic that this charlatan could get anywhere near the WH.
Well, it seems to be working fine so far. Iran is planning on selling heavy water to the US. Since heavy water is needed for nuclear weapon development, that's a good thing. The deal would have been agreed to by the rest of the world with or without the US, so I believe it is a positive that we stayed involved. Since all the neocons said Iran was weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon, their projections and knowledge of the situation seems to have been very flawed to say the least.
Looks like Donald had a bad day yesterday. Poor Donald. Everyone is picking on him.
Remember Trump spread lies about Cruz's father and wife. He called Fiorina ugly. He called McCain a loser for being captured. He insulted Rubio for being short. He called Cruz a liar. He called Bush a lightweight and mamma's boy. And on and on. Like most bullies, Trump can't take what he gives out. Pathetic.
When the press inquired about his military donations, Trump lost his cool and started calling just about everyone in the room insulting names. Funny watching him loose his cool. Since he treated his opponents like shirt with baseless personal attacks during the primaries, you would think Trump could take what he dished out. Obviously Donald the bully has a thin skin and can't take the heat. If Trump expects to be able to handle being president, he better man up. Hey, at least he hasn't had to deal with an imbecile asking to see his birth certificate. LOL!
My urologist tends to agree with you. That's why I bought a big position again.
It is only a matter of time, so longs can sit back and enjoy the ride up knowing that a big payday could come any moment. Sweet dreams, shorts!
Hey, Bush said Osama wasn't worth hunting. It took Obama and our special forces to bring him down. The terrorist flyers who smashed into the twin towers came over in late 2000 and early 2001. The Bush administration should have taken notice of a bunch of amateur pilots taking lessons who had no interest in learning how to land.
Flat tax is great, but if mortgage and real estate deductions are eliminated, it will bring about a housing market collapse as most home buyers need this help to afford to own a home and pay their real estate taxes. Eliminating church and charitable deductions would probably cause more churches to close and charities to lack the funds they need to operate causing the government to pick up the slack or cause millions more people to go without clothes and food. Before the government eliminates all the tax deductions that middle class citizens can take advantage, how about eliminating deductions like the ones Trump gets for using sheep on his golf courses or the deduction he gets for not developing the land he uses for a golf driving range. If we got rid of all the exotic tax avoidance scams that rich people like Trump get their lawyers to employ for them, I think our tax situation would greatly improve.
Trump doesn't represent the real Republican Party. He isn't a conservative. He has been a lifetime liberal until he decided to run. Trump could care less about the Republican Party as he his just concerned about himself, and if elected, we will see the dire consequences of it. Gov. Christie, who supports Trump doesn't seem to be a real Republican either as most Republicans in the state disapprove of his performance or lack of performance. His 21% approval rating might be the lowest of all time, and he still has a year and a half to go lower unless voter mount a recall election.
The half a billion the House GOP cut from embassy defense sure affected our preparedness. The "lie" you give so much importance to is what caused the embassy attack. At first it was though the anti-Muslim video was the cause. The GOP disputed that even though the only leader of the terrorist group captured said he used the video to drum up support for the attack. Throw in the fact that the CIA had an interrogation post a few block away where they were "interrogating" people also made it easy to incite the crowd. But hey, even whit Benghazzi, far more US personnel died in embassy attacks during the Bush years. But that was ok with you, frankie!
Trump is also calling Americans stupid. We all understand enough about taxes to know when a con artist like Trump is trying to avoid paying his taxes because as he said - it just goes down the drain. If we all did as Trump did, this country would really be a mess. Luckily, most Americans are honest and pay their taxes because our government was founded on taxation with representation. When the very rich only care about accumulating wealth, that's when the masses start to resent them. No wonder Bernie has had such a ground swell of support.
My son does my taxes, and I don't look for "creative Trump ways" to not pay them. I pay my fair share with my only deductions being my taxes, church giving, medical expenses, and charitable donations. Even with my modest income, not counting my large gains in my IRA accounts, I bet I pay a higher percentage of taxes than Trump. Since he paid nothing some years, I certainly have paid more. The fact that Trump is withholding his tax returns from the public is a clear indication that his tax manipulations would disgust most Americans who pay their fair share to support our military, infrastructure, education system, Medicare, Social Security, etc. If we all paid taxes like Trump America would be in the "Trumpster."
Traitor? You are a joke! Trump never served his country and he used four deferments to get out of serving. He doesn't pay taxes, hires foreign workers, uses bankruptcy laws at will, manufactures overseas, etc. If the pompous Trump is some kind of a hero to you, you have set your standards curb high. Former GOP New Jersey governor Christie Whitman just came out and told NJ Republicans to not vote for Trump. She suggested they vote for Cruz or Kasich. She said she was ashamed that Christie could have actually thrown his support to Trump. But then since Christie's approval rating is about 21%, and most people in the state think he is a failed governor, his support will most likely hurt.
Two points better in fact. Good sign for the Democrats as people will most likely want to stay the course.
