If there is a significant drop on Monday for no other reason than a little pink sheet manipulation, I will consider increasing my position as I like the long term prospects of CTIX. I doubled down a couple days ago when the price sagged, and I still am looking to add shares if the opportunity arrives. Good luck.
I read where Celgene has the right to buy up to 30% of Juno at a premium over the next 10 years. The 1 billion or so that Juno got is great, but does this deal mean that Celgene controls their fate?
I took a small position in CTIX a while back, but it has slipped apparently because of lack of interest and possible fear of a reverse stock split. At the present price, I am thinking of increasing my position. Their pipeline seems impressive, and I like the fact that the company won't damage the value of the stock with a reverse split. Evidently, they believe their pipeline will carry the day in due time. I have to cut my lawn, so I'll check back later to see if anyone has constructive comments.
Your welcome. I hope the trend continues. I expect the stock will pop nicely when Novartis picks its first compound. With all the heavy volume the last couple of days, I expect an announcement might be coming soon. You never know though, it might be some other positive news I don't know about. The fact that it was set up by TEVA tells me it has connections which might come into play at some point.
We had something like 8 million shares traded Friday on the way up. That tells me that Greece or not, biotech investors/funds want in sooner or later. If BLRX drops on Greece news, I will buy all I can.
Neshua, don't try to reason with these guys. Just enjoy the fact that the younger generation is more intelligent and understanding when it comes to these manners. The more outspoken and outrageous these old white guys are in their comments, the more intolerant and biased they appear. It pretty much guarantees that the politicians they support are burdened with catering to their biases and they have to carry that burden into the general election. These guys pretty much hate women, immigrants, Blacks, Asians, college kids, teachers, gay and lesbians, Latinos, etc. Their numbers are shrinking each day as they are a dying breed. If Donald Trump makes it into the Fox debates, we will see just a glimpse of how destructive this kind of prejudiced thinking will be to the Republican Party's chances of electing one of their own to the Presidency.
I wonder if Dr. Frost had any connection with BLRX. Either way, it looks like a promising biotech with a ways to run. IMHO.
Just out Saturday. Explains BLRX's pipeline, financial position, and development strategy. It was founded by TEVA about 10 years ago, and it appears ready to come into its own. I know you bought some Friday. The article is quite in-depth. They have a couple of research projects going in the US with MD Anderson. Evidently this little company has a lot going for it.
If this took effect on June 22, the buying pressure would be over. I get the feeling that something very positive is up and the word has leaked. I expect Novartis has selected a compound to develop with BLRX. The fact that this run-up is happening on a Friday adds a lot of intrigue to the action. Maybe someone like Novartis is interested in buying the whole company. Stay tuned.
The volume has really been picking up. Something like 15% of the float may change hands by the end of the day if Google's #'s are accurate. I am not sure why the stock is on fire because Novartis news has been out there for all to read, but hey, something is inspiring all this buying. I have seen some really huge blocks trade at the ask, so it appears getting in is a high priority for now. I only have a couple of biotechs right now, but they have all done well. I have some CTIX that I am a little in the red on, but I may actually buy some more when I free some cash up.
Looks like someone just bought 90K shares near the day's high. Pretty good action for a penny stock. It sure seems like investors/funds/traders are eager to get in on the story.
Welcome aboard. The stock was around $3 when the Novartis deal was announced. BLRX issued shares to raise $, and the stock fell back. They also did a reverse split in Israeli traded shares, but it didn't affect the value of the ADR's traded here that were valued at 20 to 1 of the Israeli shares. JPM just came out with a $5 target a couple of days back, but today's volume seems unrelated to that. With over two hours of trading to go, the stock has already traded 10X's the normal volume. Something is up. I am betting Novartis has picked its first compound to co-develop, and the announcement will be coming out shortly. If true, I expect the stock will revisit $3 again. I have quite a few shares, so I may sell some if there is an announcement. If not, I intend to hold until I hear something from Novartis. IMHO. Good luck. I hope you caught the late morning dip.
No relationship at all. Just pointing out that BLRX is running up on very heavy volume and there is probably much more to go.
