I don't recall of any of those bandwagon bumpkinds predicting this correction, and when any did mention a correction at all, it was predicted to be 3 to 5%. Plenty of downside left to reach Jan 2013 levels.
PR is a Territory of the USA. Has its own USD printer back in the coconut grove.
Yes. And it will be interesting to see if that will be a buying opportunity.
Not exactly a day brightener to read about a depression, chaos, and Anarchy, before my 3rd cup of coffee.
"... sign of increasing concern that rising levels of margin debt could exacerbate a stock market plunch.”
What's a plunch?
A plunge at lunch?
We can all learn much from the Homeless folks on the streets.
One should view themselves as Blessed if a Homeless person is willing to show you the ropes of street survival.
Yep. Too funny that the media pulls that gig outta the hat when Winter weather rolls in; as if folks hibernate and are not required to show of for work, but the jobless claims can jump because of inclement weather?
I think folks actually have to show up In Person to make an initial claim for UI payments, regardless of the weather.
Will CNBC staff put on their Party Hats when the DOW hits 10k on the downside?
CONversations with GOD are always one sided. If one Believes they are actually hearing a reply, a nicely padded room is available for you down the corridor and on the right.
PR has no cash to float the island, and coconut shells aren't gunna pass for Wampum at the bank.
Yo. Why do some think that MJ smoke will be better than WV or KY Tabacco?
I'm still befuddled as to how States can be excused for steppi' of Federal laws?
I didn;t figure that one out, back when I was 18/19 and could held and smoked one ounce, in my home , back in ballpark 1980 in Alaska.
My neighbors did, and I babysat their daughter.
And entire mircro room was foil lined, and full of MJ plants under Gro light blubs.
She and I were playing an ordinary kid game of hide and seek.
She showed me.
I was about 11 years old, so that would have been 1975, in Juneau, Alaska
Boz Scaggs, Lido Shuffle. That video channel we all watch.
I'm making a list of folks to see in concert in my near future; I missed an opportunity about 2 years ago because the venue he was listed had rooms that didn't fit my budget, and the rest areas were 100 miles or more apart. We FOB's don't mind sleepin' in our rides, but we do appreciate the relative safety of a public and Taxpayer funded wayside.
Japan has insurmountable environmental issues, and a population of humans which are on the verge of revolt, IMO. I can't see their country from here, but I do feel it. A 10% drop is just a finger test into the ceremonial teapot.
BTW, it's a global marketplace, so any bounce here...take your money and _______.
when Cramer mentioned the Broncos winning, and Drudge? webpage had a headline of a computer picking the Seahawks to win.
When the odds are 50 50 in my non coin toss, and I'm from the West Coast; I knew the Seahawks would win, but sent encouraging words to my friend who was rootin' for the Broncos.
A buying opportunity for a trader is nothing like an investing opportunity for retail folks who want to retire in the next 2 to 20 years.
Yes, it's a traders market currently, and they appear to be trading among themselves.
Wishing ill will on another is very bad Karma. It's 1.25 hours to the open and the DOW futs are up a whopping 34 pts. Hardly a big upturn, and dropping as I type.
Oh, stop. You already knew the bets were laid in Vegas and Atlantic City.
It's between them, not the teams. I'm a West Coast Gal, and GO SEAHAWKS, but my male Friend is for the Broncos; so, GO BRONCOS.
That's known as: Playin' on both sides of the fence.
We both learned something.
Who coulda bet on that?
I'm a Go Seahawks Gal, because I'm from the Far West Coast. I do think the Broncos are pegged to win. All aside, there's no beer and chips to imbide in around this here nest, as my bro left town, and my younger female sib finished her date here, and went to a friend's house to watch the game.
No problem. I have a radio, a TV, a computer with internet, a frozen prizza that I can dress up with add ons, and at least 1/2 of a small box of Chardonnay; It's not a stampede to my front door, but most won't take more time to think than they do to shower and shave.
