Just because something may be written on paper, or papyrus, doesn't mean that the stated terms will be upheld.
Speaking of oil; it's just under $53 USDs bbl, and yet the price at the pump here in my hood is ranging from $3.99 to $4.99 for regular. About a week ago, the $3.99 station was selling it for ballpark $3.50 or lower, and the $4.99 Mobil station was $3.99. Nothing has changed, except for the leapfrog in prices.
So, why did you even bother to comment? My mom said I'm a mix of English, German, Dutch, and American Native, but she didn't know which tribe. Some folks have said I look more Italian or Greek; one would never assume I might be Scandinavian.
I was typing a factual and well composed reply, and POOF! Another good post simply disappeared. To summarize: the pot shouldn't call the kettle black.
Nope. Not with a five year temporary exit plan on the table. Just more grumbles and rumbles; Monday will be another green day, across the globe.
and then so boring that I snapped it shut. Maybe the movie will be better.
I don't know the actual short interest on ECA, so I'll check. Some have been shorting this boring stock into the crapper. I smell an agenda.
Nope. Rick S. would not be wearing blue on a white shirt, if Greece was "the word" to take the markets down. Bull Roar! regardless of the outcome. Don't get me started on sharing the screen shots of the other CNBS crew. Nice touch to have Janet show up in deep purple mid session.
It's China, so perhaps a 15% bounce is possible early next week, to still CONfidence in the markets. Their Friday close could be nasty.
The original Nicola Tesla technology was CONfiscated by the USA government; he had the handle on free energy. If his invention had been made available to the public, the utility cos. who service the populace would not exist.
End game is, it's all about money.
If solar energy were such a go go, than it would have been MANdated usage by the government for all structures in the Sun Belt, and others, ballpark 50 years ago.
I've heard the same song and dance since I was a very young child about "saving the planet," "recycle, reuse," etc. Same singalong about how great using the power of the sun to generate electricity is a part of "saving the planet."
Ya can't have it both ways.
The recent downtrend in oil should give a lift to solar stocks. Every sector has their day in the sun.
All is well.
I'd be wary of Persians bearing gifts.
It is the summer months, and volatility adds a bit of excitement to the doldrums.
Been there, done that. Humidity, overpriced RE, bugs, and hurricanes. No insurance available on 3 of the 4 items I listed. And, the global warming/climate change fanatics on this board seem to believe the FL will be underwater within decades, if not days. (eyeroll)
Fantastic! Maybe the least expensive gasoline station in my 'hood will lower the $3.27 per gallon price for regular/87 grade.
Sue had a high hair wing on one side, and a definite droop on the other. However, as she was dressed in green, and Mandy is wearing purple with a skinny belt, I expect a green or near flat close. The show must go on....
The most recent solar indicator of A,U, suggests markets will have a green close, if the pattern repeats.
