Yes. I noticed when I post a reply today, the post doesn't move up
"The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation."
Anyone know a fix? Or where I can change the settings. I am the system administrator, and the only user.
Janet has the PPT on the stick end of the toilet plunger.
No need to hear Maria bark: "And we're off the lows!".
It's 10:36 AM Eastern here in Charlotte, NC. It's so dark and gloomy outside during a mild thunderstorm, it looks like 8:35 PM.
And some blowhard is on CNBS humping the "downed plane" story. Nice touch, that the bodies are on refrigerated trucks.
A drop from 30k plus feet wouldn't have any human body intact, and certainly not after being blown apart by a missile.
But everyone's an expert when a microphone is translating their words.
$325 per mo. payments, with a 3 year loan, max. And still be able to swallow those $100 or more month insurance bills. That zero down, and forever we hold a piece of yours, action is a wallet grab which knows no bounderies.
GOD Bless Amercia, and those who bought those rides.
I didn't calculate the actual %, but it's a whopper.
Tyler wearing his eyeglasses during his segment yesterday was just as good as shouting "Cover!" at the entrance to a Bear's Lair.
I expect Monday to be a down day, as the whole story is falling apart. The "breaking news" and CONflicting info. presented by the media is meant to CONfuse the public, so that they mentally check out. Just 24 hours ago, there were supposedly 23 Americans on board the MH17 flight , and now it's one (1). Yet, the media reported the manifest showed 23 Americans aboard, and blah, blah, blah.
Then, one must review those photos and videos , and say to themselves "What's wrong with this picture?"
And then there's the attire worn by the media gals; just about this side of a turtle neck tops/dress today, and not a hint of "the girls" on display
CNBC folks were practically wringing their hands, and the markets were only down a bit. At this lofty levels, S&P should have dropped 70 pts. minimum. Futures up as I type.
Sneaked would be a better form of the verb; however, snuck has become dictionary accepted form.
Nobody reads these boards but the handful of us who post.
And a whole lotta trash posted, and tossed out. Sometimes, I do it myself; just to gauge who's reading what, and why.
Thanks for the vocab refresher.
Being an unemployed HERmit, I only have my website for using the words which I think most folks can grasp, or to be entertained by reading them. My sense of wit and humor might be lost on some; that's OK.
Back in the stone age, when I was in high school, I read that the average person reads at the level of 8th grade students.
What I found interesting was that my sisters and I tested out at ballpark 9th grade reading comprehension levels, on what was then call SRA Reading Laboratory product, which was used in our classrooms in the 3rd grade, ballpark. That was the standard for testing in the early to mid 1970's.
I remember using those cards from the box, and answering the questions, and moving on to the next higher level color, after one color set was completed.
The best thing our Mother ever did was teach us how to ABC and to recognize/read common words and labels, pre Kindergarten.
I did the same with my 2, and added a math session to life, almost daily.
Nothing fancy, just starting from about 2 days old.
My Gramps I think only had an 8th grade eduction, and a whole lotta OJT for doing everything else he learned to do well; welding, fishing, machining, shooting/hunting, home repairs, etc.
My Grammy graduated from high school, and wanted to be a teacher. Her dream never came true, as money for college wasn't available, and then her life choices formed her life. She taught all of us who were wise enough to listen up, so many things,
I'm one of the most fortunate women on the planet!
Some might disagree, but few have I have, and I don't need what I'm not missing.
this AM. A movement not seen regularly, and obviously unnecessary.
Cramer did while yapping Intel and its earnings.
Perhaps there are ants in their chairs again today?
Once in a while, some of you post a good one liner, but I'll look at ZH, as good material is fun to read.
That is worth a laugh.
Maybe that old movie The Graduate will replay on TV this weekend.
I'm 50 and not bad lookin' for my age.
What is odd to me is most men my age and older, look every day of theirs
My Gramps taught me how to shoot a bolt action rifle. My Grammy had a .22 pistol in her undies drawer.
Go ahead, bring on that hi tech firepower.
Nah. It would be lost on you, and the Elves.
What a bunch of trolls, and such a disappointment. And the US Taxpayers are on the on the hook for your paycheck? (eyeroll icon)
