Are not MBS's already have of the Promised Land fodder?
Let's review: No matter what the Fed does, unemployment at dismal wages will never allow those who have enough common sense to save a few thousand dollars to make a down payment on a modest home.
Wages at even $10 per hour and gasoline at $3.25, and bus tickets at $2 each way, and additional for a transfer, etc.,;' who the heck has any cash for shopping? And might I mention ObamaCare premiums and deductibles, and not covered?
What a mess.
Here we are.
Any person can talk to GOD.
It's when folks claim that GOD talks to them which bothers me.
In my experience, GOD gives Signs. HE's not the person out there with a road flagging job, or a song you love on the radio when you turned it on, nor is the smell of a freshly mowed lawn, GOD in action. I don't need to be inside a church to Believe.
No ditch is dug with a cell phone, and a backhoe runs on a tank of fuel even if the grid is down.
If a 5% drop occurs within a 2 week period, the next 10% would take less than an additional 3 weeks. Total of 6 weeks or less, which is 35 to 42 days. Not sure when the drop will begin, but we'll know it when we see it.
If we can't have fun posting and yakking here, why would anyone?
Why would a gal like me ever purchase dead horse that another was tryin
to sell me?
Glen Campbell didn't sing Rhinestone Cowboy without a reason
Chinese buy, and hold gold. 18k, or higher, as the Italians did, back when they made jewelry.
Having to bump my own post because some are paid to be asleep at the switch, and others actually purchase food and gas on a regular basis.
Yo. How's that cloud from Fukishima and the sea life in the pacific doin' nowadays.
Radiation is all encompassing, never discriminatory.
Highly possible. and when a hack figgers out that thingy that locks all door, windows, engines, and radios in their new rides, mine will still be in road warrior/godess mode.
Tech works both ways. Do greet your screen, it's a 2 way viewing device...this is old stuff and nothing new.
CNBS will have that Friday Freakshow guy (short, dark hair, scratchy weird voice) who uses his fingers to tic off the signs of an impending bear market and he always comes up with the synopsis of bull intact.
More like you must have picked up a back issue of High Times.
Naz to 5k plus before any crash, and not a problem, at 23 pts upside per day.
Just remember to sell when you're ahead.
Or, "Quake and Bake" will be the new tag line for dismal numbers.
I'm seeing shakers on the map in areas which aren't normally affected.
Excessive heat makes me crabby, and winter thunderstorms are supposedly rare here in Charlotte, NC.
It was a stunner; about 3 AM on Wednesday; my sister got out of bed and came down to see if I was awake and If had unplugged my computer. The lightening show was the most intense I've ever seen here, and more on tap for Friday AM, if the weather is accurate.
I still have some shares of a water filtration co. that went BK a few years ago. Impressive board, and what appeared to be whiz bang tech and product.
Just sort disappeared; how does that happen, when water is going to be the biggest commodity?
The shares trade a few times per month, but who would buy shares of a co. that is out of biz?

Perhaps. But I've spent more $ at WMT in the last year than I ever have, simply because I live within walking distance and many of their prices are very competitive. The staff I meet seem to be pleasant and efficient, and when there is a Greeter, they have a smile which brightens my day.
Buying any of the dollar stores would be a mistake, IMO.
Dollar Tree has it down,;as does 99 cents Only which reverted to Private. When I was in CA, I saw 99 do an incredible upturn in folks from all walks comin' in the doors to get the great prices and unbelievable deals.
Retirees in their pantsuits, younger women in their dresses, teens with piercings, young black males who don't have enough sense to pull their pants up around their butt cheeks, and young families trying to stretch a buck.
A most fascinating shopping experience; I miss it, and hope 99 extends out to the East Coast.
Full disclosure: I don't own any shares in WMT. I've been waiting for the pps to drop; silly me.
I'd have to have been there to believe that story. Some of us remember a plate of pot brownies being passed around in our teen years; it's pretty obvious how much is baked in, as it were.
That's a nasty finish to a great song.
Why show yourself as an #$%$ in public?
