I thought for sure that it would go down in sympathy with the slaughter of SPH (Smae business) . Why not. I got scared and unloaded at market but will buy back if someone will explained the why.
Seems to me that if VNR was finished they would have already suspended all distributions on preferred and common. Maybe they know something you guys don't. DAH!
What is meant by this statement. Thanks for clarification.
"my biggest fear down here are the potential takeunders that would knee-cap the long-term appreciation potential."
Declared third quarter cash distribution of $0.1375 per common unit, or $0.55 per common unit on an annualized basis, payable on November 13, 2015 to unitholders of record as of November 6, 2015
Won't the lower stock price kill the mergers since the deal was in VNR stock or least end up in a serious dilution situation. Since the stock was around $16 when the deal was made and only 7 _+ now can't be business as usual. Something has to give. I suspect the LER and Rock shareholders may not be anxious now.
I don't understand if the production is hedged with higher than current prices than why the losses. I guess that's why folks say that if prices stay the same next year VNR is in deep do do.
I should not have ignored Goldman. I remember late last year I had bought 20 calls of Kohls at .55 1/19/2016. Zacks came out with a sell so I did and Kohls went to 76. Cost me $20,000 by being scared off. They were at 55 at the time. So I ignored Goldman. Big mistake. I am still holding. Too late to sell now.
