Based on SNY's reporting, Symphony #'s weren't far off. I am still holding a core position, but yes I am starting to wonder, not to the doubting stage. If I hit that point, You will see me gone from here.
You may be right dm, but the longer we get into this, the less I trust SNY. On one hand I see the refinancing as a positive, but then I see scripts that just aren't growing. We have countless people tweeting and doing youtube and SNY with all their inroads can not get this over 500 scripts in 6 months? Just strange.
I agree! WTH? I have posted this countless times............. If you take another group of individuals that would be the identical demographic as the one used in the trials and followed them for the exact time frame, one could make the argument that Afrezza lessens the chance of lung cancer. This whole cancer thing is #$%$ and shouldn't even be an issue.
Dang FDA is so worried about lung cancer, then stop the sale of cigarettes in the USA. There is not a doubt in the world that cigarettes cause cancer and other illnesses.
I really didn't think this would be an issue and SNY hires this great Agency and they write it like that?
As written it would scare the #&^% out of me , too. There were I think 3 or 4 cases out of thousands of people and 2 were ex-smokers.
This whole lung cancer thing about Afrezza really ticks me off to no end.
MNKD gets refinancing and announce increased production, but SNY can't or isn't selling the product? How and why? There is no way they would have gotten the refinacing without knowing something.
On another note, Why are $10 Jan calls the most heavily traded now?
Would love some thoughts?
Great post backed with actual Stats! It does seem that some insurance companies are coming around though. Adambarlam is right.
But the crazy thing to me is your first post is correct.
Honestly, that has bothered me all day. I would think there would have been a " well we are starting slow, but plan to....... strongly believe the Afrezza works,......... going to start ................" ; you get the picture. But to not even mention it, I really question SNY's commitment.
As an investor in MNKD, it is concerning. And as to your final question RSR, I think SNY didn't want to bring up a product that is struggling at this point.
What I don't understand is based on results of the early adaptors, they are sitting on a potential goldmine. Still need better insurance coverage but the are making headway. At least address a plan and where progress has been made.
Strange and baffling, but this whole MNKD adventure has been. Heck, even the day it got approved was screwed up.
Curious as to what you are thinking. You know I have been long a long time, but with the minimal sales and no mention, not sure what you are seeing.
It is amazing to me they didn't even talk about it. If you can, message me on Proboards.
My gut is we are going to get pounded today.
He actually said in both conferences something to the effect that they may be running today and if not are ready any day. What that meant I don't know!
Makes sense and hopefully you are right. For a long time I was expounding a buyout, but then started to wonder. I could probably write a list of 20 reasons it could happen.
This drug is too good to be selling this poorly if a REAL effort was being put into it.
I was actually giving you a compliment, but you still didn't answer the Question. Why do they need MNKD out of the way to do this?
I too have wondered and HOPED this has all been by design.
Simply and Utterly amazing. So happy for you. A year from now we won't be able to keep up with the stories like this. Thank you for sharing it!
