not sure that they are a short "yet" on your comments. I see it coming though. The terrible customer service is endemic to the industry and has existed for what 50 or so years. It is the a la carte that is coming after mid term elections are complete that will be this industries short coming. Other revenue sources will not make up the difference imho.
Seems that after the election year a la carte could be on the way for cable companies. While CMCSA's run up has been great the opportunity for a run down is on the horizon starting 2 to 3 years from now, with a stagnant stock price till then. Loss of a significant revenue source would have an impact on the stock. You still here? Your thoughts?
I am looking for some advise and yours seems to be the best. Do you have any other investments that you are categorizing as POSs? If so please identify them as I am looking to invest some additional monies and want to avoid losers. Your excellent and very very accurate predictions on this stock over the years makes me want to look at stocks you have identified as POS. Unfortunately years ago I did not listen to you and bought this stock in the 60s and then had it split. Foolish me! Again, Please help me, I seem to be making foolish investments in stocks like Celgene!
Ah rentfree, such a breath of ricky fresh air. How are those section 8 rent payments workin for yee? Ya musta missed out on reading the democratic fatform this year - didn't you read about those transfer payments heading your way and increased taxes on the frogg for the frogg and his kind to support yee?
Tis a might optimistic you are lad! As I recall, did T not hid a high in the 90's some 18 years or so ago? The market view t as a bid of an income and an equity play as does the market view its' peers. While 100 seems a might bit aggressive, viewing t as a growth/divi/equity play is in order. 18 months though - nah! much too aggressive, yet nice thinking.
Obama clearly is the best reading President we have had in some time. Good speech writers! Did you realize that it was the Senate that voted and not the Congress? Probably not!
Park ones politics and think. The Senate fails to pass legislation again, this time on gun control. Obama immediately blames Congress. Think about it.
The President of the United States in his fifth year in office cannot properly identify which legislative body has responsibility for a single action (any action) and blames the other body. Like sheep his followers attack the other body. His own party fails to hold him accountable and fails to make anything happen.
This President has repeatedly failed the public by not generating support within his party, that party, in case he forgot and his supporters forgot, is the Democratic Party.
HE CAN'T GET IT DONE!!! Forget your politics for one moment. This guy is not involved and does not get things done! VERY VERY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The failure is within the DEMOCRATIC PARTY which DOES NOT support the Democratic President. Democrats, the party of inaction and blaming. First two years of this President he had Democratic control of both houses and he did not accomplish any significant legislative initiatives. Unless you want to read it after what ever is in it passes. WOW! Close your eyes and maybe it will happen.
By the way, bought a lot yesterday and sold a bunch today for some rather significant short term gains. What the heck! Gotta be in it to win it!
Be careful Wilkes, that astute investor with the two names and the new organization is likely to think that 14 cents is the new t rate for LD.
Zonbac98, thanks for clarifying. Your mis type and subsequent apology make you stand above posters, especially the new organization of incompetents.
Glad to see you are back on track!
Not Possible. Based on postings from the one and his alias (ali #$%$) that org would be bankrupt during the first week. Plagarism and the inability to generate an original thought doom such an org to failure. More likely the ricky echo postings are from wanna be libs. Poor excuses!
why should charitable work in another country be exempted from income in the USA? Your logic please? Is charitable work in any country a deduction from taxes in other than ones home country? Are your charitable contributions a financial decision or a human needs response?
HUH? How did you arrive at your conclusion that NY or NYC had anything to do with this? Are you being influenced by 'ricky research'?
ricky is a prime example of someone who relies on the government and supports that reliance by attacking anyone, or any recommendation for fiscal and personal responsibility. Poor ricky! ricky pay your own way!
haven't looked at the data. though my initial belief would be a combination of the buyback and divi chasers. do you think the dol will approve the t plan to invest in wireless to support pension needs? Approval along with the buyback should give institutional investors a very strong sense of confidence.
not true dave! If you are like ricky and on the dole, having someone else pay your way, then you would be an Obama supporter, and would be counting on the stupidity of the American taxpayer to receive your transfer payments.
ricky and his kind need to pay their own way.
good that you are taking the lead for your families well-being!
then ricky should vote for "O". poor widdle wicky can't support himself.
ricky needs to step up and start to support others instead of taking from us.
With the fool on the hill continuing to destroy the middle class by not creating jobs and continuing to replace a few jobs with much lower paying jobs he has succeeded in destroying the middle class. ricky you have to start paying for your stuff!!
and by the way, are you an immediate gratification required investor? Pull back as healthy for the market. With t buying back shares and the upcoming divi having the usual impact on the divi chasers, look for a slight pull back next week. for a utility transforming this has been a good couple of years.
