Go to Insider Monkey's website and type in David Iben. He is in charge of this hedge fund. Most of his holdings are international and most of the companies he owns I have never heard of until I came across this site. It appears he doesn't mind taking chances. NTP is about his nineteenth largest holding.
Eddie and Mr. Grape where in my comment does it say I purchased this stock based on a kid in college. Someone mentioned weather and I gave out this young man's name because he excels, at a very young age, at his trade. Also if you think energy companies do not rely more so than ever on meteorologists in their strategic planning maybe you should do some more research.
There is a kid majoring in meteorology at Oklahoma St. that nailed last winter's forecast. This winter he is calling for an even more brutal winter along the east coast and the south. This is not a spam post but if you wish check out Firsthand Weather on fb or google.
I'm in at 6.95. Either they will hit a homerun and we may brag all we wish or they will strike out and I will promise myself once again not to purchase such speculative stocks. I think a HR will be coming our way and at the moment we are up!
Well I guess the whole oil industry is loaded with poor management because about every large and small company dealing with oil was hammered today. Blame management all you wish but most of this loss is due to the price of oil. As examples I will mention the "poorly" managed APA, SLB, and SLX companies. If you still own WRES then blame the person in the mirror. I will continue to hold.
This has nothing to do with management and everything to do with the price of oil and our dear friends in Saudi Arabia whom our government continually allows to screw the American citizen and our oil industry.
Thanks for the education. I don't mind him making money but a little diazepam might remove some of the edginess.
Boglene I know little about shorting. Would you please tell me how much money he or she is making on this trade to make a person go off the deep end?
The news was announced after the close. Yesterday it dropped 6.5% with approximately 7500 shares changing hands and today it goes up 7.73% on around 7500 shares traded. If it weren't for the volatility this stock would put one to sleep.
I'm sick with anxiety as the price of Mylan continues to rise. Classicradios what are we longs to do?
I then apologize. Since we are starving for positive stock moving upward news might you share what you learned. Not all, but some. Thank you.
Be aware that this is the only post this person has ever made on any boards.
I would agree with your broker and purchase. My broker said basically the same thing in April 2012 but my purchase price with fees was around $95.00. Your entry is in my dreams. The shorts are back but they will disappear as soon as the price of oil goes and stays up and as Apache continues to sell its foreign assets to remove debt.
Maybe it will fall to four, Mr. Koo offers the remaining stockholders six dollars a share and for a day we can say we made fifty percent. Not optimistic but still holding.
