Why am I not surprised that you posted NOTHING after this:

Toronto council has voted unanimously 44-0 to push ahead with negotiations that could lead to the expansion of Billy Bishop Airport.

Councillors debated a proposal to expand the runways at the island airport to allow Porter Airlines to fly jets to and from the downtown location on Tuesday.

Deputy Mayor Norm Kelly told reporters he considers the vote a victory.

"The modernization of the airport is not dead. People thought it was three months ago," Kelly said. "The airport is critical to the health of our downtown, to our business community. It will not only give more jobs but the variety of jobs our men and women are looking for."

Robert Deluce, CEO of Porter Airlines, told reporters he wasn't anticipating a strong vote from council.
"There needs to be an environmental assessment and a master plan. The interesting thing is that those things can take place while the negations are going on. It should come together quite nicely sometime in 2015," Deluce said.

Councillors who have publically opposed the expansion are also considering this vote a victory.

You clearly only post when it is negative news in regards to BBD. This doesn't mean they won, but it is a huge unexpected majority vote to pursue analysis (which we new would be the ONLY positive outcome to realistically come out of the meeting yesterday)

3 deals announced yesterday and nothing ?

You mean the deals for 5 planes, 2 planes and 1 plane.....ya, it's surprising the stock didn't double today. Quite earth shattering deals they signed up there. I'm not complaining, a sale is a sale but this is not gonna make the stock jump.

  • danvandam19 danvandam19 Mar 27, 2014 10:27 AM Flag

My outlook is no movement unless the FTV4 takes first flight. This is the plane that will be testing for performance and probably the one that most are waiting to see take off. It will provide the results that will help them make more sales in the near future......of course, all depending on the preliminary results that come from it.

  • danvandam19 danvandam19 Mar 27, 2014 10:25 AM Flag

Of course they are wrong! I am not stating if they are right or wrong, what I am saying is that when they downgrade, the stock always goes down but when they upgrade their price target, it should have a positive effect. Do you think I am impressed when half the analysts bring their targets down after a selloff and have the balls to quote the price it is now at? Even I can do that!

Their original targets weren't bad, they were just based on the fact that BBD was supposed to have the CSeries program on schedule. Once they announce that they don't.....for the 3rd time....then the targets look silly but they did not know that going in. The new target prices coming out are based on the CSeries completion in the 2nd half of 2015.....if they delay again, the analyst predicting today can't know this.

You mean facts? Well what can you do, an analyst is upbeat about the price of the stock and I share this pertinent information. On the other hand, you start up posts about Billy Bishop being cancelled, Olivia Chow being elected 7 months before elections, Seperation in Quebec, sales to companies or countries that are not on your "favorites" list and not to mention CDP....you know, all non bovine fecal matter totally relevant to the stock price of BBD

I apologize to anyone who is offended by facts in articles published other than Chertsy opinions based on fiction.

Research analysts at BMO Capital Markets raised their price target on shares of Bombardier (TSE:BBD.B) from C$4.00 to C$4.50 in a report released on Monday, StockRatingsNetwork reports. The firm currently has a “market perform” rating on the stock.

YOU predicted??? I believe your prediction was it would be canned in no time. I stated that they would drag this thing for as long as they could but would eventually happen as Toronto takes forever to make a decision we all know will or at least should happen for the greater good of the city.

Ya, they woke up this morning and flipped a coin. I'm sure the fact that they went regional had little to nothing to do with it. The Chinese care very much about Russia and their feelings right now and decided they would show BBD not to mess with their friend!

If that's the case, Air Canada will also go regional just based on the fact that Brazil are meanies to Argentina and will give a huge order to BBD out of spite tomorrow morning.

Well at least it repeated its performance from yesterday and has stormed back from the dead. Not sure why the mid day drop with no volume to back it up but at least some feel it drops too low and get back in on it before the closing bell.

Wow, it's shocking that Air Canada would want to bring down Porter.....again! Gee, what is this...the 7th time they complain about what they are trying to do?! What happened every other time again?? Oh ya, they dropped their legal case or it got thrown out for them!

Air Canada would love nothing more than to have Porter go bye bye now wouldn't they!

  • danvandam19 danvandam19 Mar 25, 2014 8:26 AM Flag

Ya, very surprising that Sukhoi jets went with a regional firm. Maybe when Air Canada buys BBD planes, the Chinese Blurtsy can start a post with the headline Oh OH - Air Canada to buy 100 regional C Series jets and the Chinese Sukhoi message board can start bashing their own.

Stock is falling on the most ridiculous of low volume today....dropping 1 penny at a time with trades of 25k shares at a time....any other day, a 25k trade would barely make it budge.

I see 13M shares traded on the NDBD website so not sure what you are referring to?

And congratulations to the moron who sold 1.11 million shares at the last second to bring the price back down to $4.18. I wish you nothing more than an opening price well above $4.20 on Monday morning.

  • danvandam19 danvandam19 Mar 21, 2014 9:42 AM Flag

While Russia accounted for about $250 million of Bombardier’s 2013 sales of $18.2 billion, Beaudoin said future revenue could be much larger.

    For now, a non issue.

Stock price, what do you think after yesterday's statement: Up 6 cents to $4.21

    Oh well

  • danvandam19 by danvandam19 Mar 20, 2014 12:41 PM Flag

Well I gave Blurts all morning to post the REAL positions as of mid-March but of course, good news about BBD never comes from his keyboard so I will post it myself.

As of March 14th, BBD short positions went significantly down from 45.7 million shares to 36.4 million shares....a DECREASE of 9.3 million shares short or a 20% decrease.

Ya, I guess the tides aren't turning huh Blurts?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Well selloff...there was 1 huge trade of over 500k shares that brought it way down...besides that it was your typical day of ups and downs.

Will be interesting to see how it reacts tomorrow, especially that it is investor's day. Blurts must be all excited....is he the guest of honor?

Relaxxxxxx. You're such a bandwagon poster! You didn't write this the last what....6-7 days in a row it has gone but UP. Did you honestly think some monkey wouldn't dump 500k shares when he got too nervous and make the price go down a little?! It's only down 8 cents currently
