Hi dipsea, nice to hear from you. Yes, I'm still out saving newbies especially from Black Box warning toxic drugs. Today, under political pressure the FDA is allowing dangerous drugs to be sold with almost complete abandon. See the ads which describe a slow agonizing death if you dare take same drug.
I liked Vical for years due to their safe Oncept plasmid DNA based cancer vaccine. It was the first approved safe therapeutic cancer vaccine in either animals or humans. Vical also had the first safe vaccine to achieve approval for sale for the prevention of infectious Hematopoietic necrosis virus disease.
I believe the future success of Vical will be known when their Astellas p-3 CMV (hct) clinical trial data is unlocked, not to mention their p-2 trial for CMV (sot) is disclosed.
I'm not satisfied with Vijay and have voted against him for years and only hope that he can pull the proverbial rabbit out of Vical's interesting pipeline. At 70 cents it seems to be a no-brainer. However, remember all biotech companies are risky. Good health to you & God Bless America!
Thanks prg for the laugh. Vical will be back, matter of fact I added a few Vical this morning. I believe our group is covered by holding GNCA, AGEN, VICAL. Let's be glad that there is valuable scientific data to be absorbed from this preliminary herpes trial to benefit humanity . Astellas is supporting Vical this morning other than going the other way. We are hoping for VEEV & VJET and a few others to light up the sky longterm. Good luck to Jetman & you all.
Hope all is well ! A quick check in on messages i noticed a brain cancer nod using antisense. The large molecule antisense attack would have to be directly in the brain or else don't you agree? Jetman, your folks on inis board don't seem to realize isis antisense has no cures for any disease. However, we can always hope for a cure.
I hope you have taken advantage of Vical's give away prices? Other than vicl, agen & gnca I find it hard to find more qualified biotech companies in said area of treatment. BTW, I think it was very wise of Dr. Crooke to back off on his latest press release.
