Seems like a good plan to me to capture more of the wireless market. I can't see where this is much of a concession as current T customers, those that were customers within the last 6 months and those that owe T are excluded.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
MERGE is a great word. Do you have a clue as to where AMBA chips are used........in many of the fastest growing sectors and not only for GPRO but for their competitors. AMBA is in the natient stage of growth and that is why the market rewards it with a nice advance premium. I have loved the last two days as it has offered an opportunity to get in under $100 and to protect myself with calls that add another $4 to $5 to my pocketbook. Love it.
Even if Amazon's idea gets off of the ground, your analysis ignores the result of the increasing pace of online ordering and the reality that fuel prices will remain tame for years to come. S&P rates UPS a buy as do I and EPS is a figment that will be improved with logistic changes over the Christmas Holiday period.
Has anyone looked at the individual companies that are to be part of the 'spin off'? I am thinking that by looking at the size and financial metrics we would have a better idea of whether they can be the success that PSEC has basically taken for granted.
Concerning insider buys and the knowledge that they have cumulatively lost millions on their purchases, are you really comfortable that these are the same PSEC movers and shakers who are deciding which companies they are spinning off to John Q public? I am not and sold at $8.89 but kept 13 shares just so I can follow the proceedings. Barry and Eliasek don't intend to take prisoners with their latest 'scheme'.
I have sold all but 13 shares as I wanted to follow this unfolding drama. That being said, it seems that the insiders might be well satisfied with a large distribution announcement as they would finally be able to sell some of their shares for a higher price than they paid or on the other hand collect millions of dollars in excess distribution cash. It would seem that they have positioned themselves well for either eventuality and leads one to believe that this 'spin off' has been planned for a long time.
I agree and bought in AH at $15.54 as I have been watching this company for a strong breakout and I trade on strength and ignore all the rhetoric.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
If history is any indication then you can count on the price of PSEC heading south as that has always happened when the insiders purchase stock. I call this pump and dump
Sentiment: Strong Sell
