Really feeling good about that. Might as well have spent the money on something that made me happy in the short term. This long term misery stinks. Is this a real entity or just some group in a strip center with four desks and a copy machine?
This company got too big and forgot the customer. Customers are treated like a shrink wrapped skid of cookware stacked on the third level of shelving to collect dust. They don't care about poisoning my dog, not standing behind tire warranty. You buy and good bye. Newest motto of Costco. 18 years a member until this year.
19 people in seven states with E. coli from Costco chicken salad. Costco will do what? Same thing they did when they poisoned all of those dogs. Return the product for a refund.
You want customer service? Go to Wegmans. You want angry workers? Costco.
So what is the response you'll get from this board. That's pretty much the response I received from Costco, too. Stopped buying their Kirkland brand long ago. Stopped buying tires there because Costco wouldn't honor manufacturer's warranty. I dropped the card not because I couldn't afford $55 per year. I dropped because this company is too big and ignores customer concerns.
Decided to end my membership today. Probably spend $2k per year there. Overall, I was satisfied with only a few issues like my dog being poisoned by Kirkland food and tire warranty not recognized. Costco isn't the best in customer service and I was tired of spending $55 per year. I told the lady at the desk I couldn't afford the yearly fee. She looked into her computer, called over a couple of employees, and closed out the account and gave me $55. Somewhat surprised they didn't ask me to stay or drop the fee a bit. Oh well.
