Ric Flair's "rides" on "space mountain" were real.
All his styling and profiling, and not a penny to his name and looking at a mountain of personal debt.
Maybe Natch should go on the comedy circuit ala Mick Foley. The stories he could tell from his days on the road, I am sure would entertain many of us "ham and eggers"
Look at the number of engagements Mr Foley has scheduled this year.
Certainly a "higher" profile Wrestler such as the Nature Boy could do at least replicate Mr. Foley's success. Woooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also previously known as Aviantruth, Mammel (something or another) who used to end all of his highly intellectual posts with:
Molycorp remains FAR FAR WORSE THAN A STRONG SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Metabolix represents a high risk, potential high return security.
While they have an interesting product that can "revolutionize" the industry, we have heard this time after time from any number of companies that have "bellied up".
It appears the jury is scheduled to "render" its verdict on Monday, as to whether or not Metabolix
will issue a potential announcement regarding future financing.
If the jury continues to deliberate and offers no announcement, or said announcement to is the effect, stick and fork in it, we are done, well the market will respond accordingly.
There is no get rich quick scene for the small ham and egger investor in the Wall Street Casino parlor. One should only "invest" in the Metabolix's in the Wall Street Universe to the extent that they will "lose it all" and not cause financial harm to myself and my family. Which is what I did.
I am expecting that my position in this company will "hit too low for zero" by the end of the July 4th holiday. I of course will be disappointed by that outcome, but no one instructed me under duress I must "invest" in this company.
This will bring my risk capital balance to $0. In the sage words C Miller, a former car dealership in Cleveland, C Miller Chevrolet, "I started in this business with nothing, I ended with nothing but I had a good time in between". Amen.
Folks I can say that about MBLX.
I read the reports, all the hype about their revolutionary new product etc etc etc. I saw the financials, saw that they are losing a significant amount of money.
In the end, I made the following decision. How much risk capital do I have that I am willing to expend, with the possible likelihood that I will LOSE IT ALL and not hurt myself or my family financially? That is the amount that I said, ok I buy the hype count me in at XXX shares.
IF MBLX disappears along with my risk capital and as of this posting it is questionable that they can remain a "going concern", oh well. Whether Wall Street is rigging manipulating this security, whatever, I made the choice and I must assume responsibility for my decisions. That is the bottom line.
That is how I would look at investing in Molycorp today. Limit your exposure to your "mad money" risk capital, whatever you want to call it. If you do invest in this company, first and foremost, please make sure you cause yourself and your family NO FINANCIAL HARM, and TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAID ACTION, IF YOUR INVESTMENT TANKS AND PERHAPS DISAPPEARS.
Not much in the way of profit taking available right now.
If Vince maintains the dividend at its current level, not a bad place to park some money and have a 4%+ return at the present time.
Aviantruth, perhaps you would like to diversify your investment opportunities.
Frank Jackson, mayor of Cleveland Ohio (know where Ohio is genius?) could use your superior intellect in helping him in the implementation Lakefront development plan.
Now I understand that you might be reluctant to commit that sum of money required to implement Mayor Jackson's project.
If you want to place less of your money at risk that was made from shorting the rare earth market you could move a short distance east of Cleveland, to Euclid, and ask to speak with Mayor Bill Cervenik who is in the process of developing a Lakefront plan on a much smaller scale in that community.
It is apparent that geist.gunter( Aviantruth) is a selfless self promoter, perhaps eclipsed only by Vincent K. Mcmahon of WWE fame. And we all know that VKM presides over a "fake and scripted" operation.
The one thing that Insect Insight (geist gunter) certainly is heads and shoulders above the rest of us "intellectual inferiors" is the number of posts he writes here and on the other rare earth boards.
Why don't you go back to your luxury weekend retreat, or sail off on your oversized luxury barge, and leave the rest of us inferiors alone.
I do miss seeing his old tag line, so I'll share this with all of you currently engaged on the board.
MOLYCORP REMAINS FAR FAR WORSE THAN A STRONG SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vince McMahon is arguably the best con man in our era, at least for now due to the fact that he has made "millions and millions" of dollars (thank you Prime Time Players) running the world's longest running soap opera, selling to the millions and millions of us "ham and eggers" (thank you Bobby Heenan/Rock) who continue to participate and pay for this "sideshow"
I am quite confident that somehow, Vince will find a way to once again defeat those "legal vultures"
circling overhead waiting to pick his carcass apart. Vince 3:16 will once again proclaim
"Kiss my Xss " to the SEC, and will once again get the "three count" and his hand raised in triumph if you smell what the "VInce is cooking". Sorry Hulkster, Vince will not need to take his vitamins and say his prayers as part of his legal strategy. OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you related to the Nature Boy, who once proudly proclaimed, no Xair, no Flair? WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you arrive at your luxury beach house, with the Dos Equinos world's most interesting man , enjoy the company of the ladies half your age or less.
They will do their utmost best to redistribute the "wealth" you two bozos have accumulated, from yourselves to themselves. And I suspect they will be quite successful in this endeavor
As your buddy Dos Equinos would say. stay "shorting" my friend.(Aviantruth)
Why not buy Impact Wrestling? Hire CM Punk and Chris Jerico, bring back A J Styles Chris Saban and Christopher Daniels. drop Jeff Hardy's lame gimmic, and use these talents to build a company that just might give Vince, Steph and Jean Paul a run for their money.
I am sure that Ms Dixie could play a role of a heel manager somewhere in the mix.
If the McMahon's personal cash flow requirements remain at their current levels,
it is unlikely the dividend will get cut. As a qualified dividend, the most the McMahon's will be taxed on these distributions will be 20%.
Of course, after 2014 dividends may be taxed at one's marginal rate, whereby it would make more sense for the McMahon' s to increase their salaries, and reduce their dividend distributions, since dividend payments are not tax deductible on the corporate level, but wages are.
I agree with principal trade, this stock is more likely to see $10.00 than $30.00 again.
Sell Xell YES especially for all you ham and egger investors in the 10 or 15% tax bracket. Capital gains tax will be 0% at least thru the end of 2014.
If Congress continues this favorable tax treatment beyond this year, and this stock sees $10.00 and Vince retains the current dividend, my sentiment would change to BUY.
Just want to throw this out there.
Three private schools in Cleveland, St Ignatius, St Edward' and Gilmour Academy have announced that starting next school year students will be drug tested.
Psychemedics has been awarded a $120,000 contract for the first batch of tests to be conducted this fall. Statement issued by St Edward's stated that the company is the only fully FDA certified tresting firm for the full range of drugs that the school wants the students to be tested for.
Yes, Psychmedics CEO and president is the brother of St Edward's president James Kubacki That was disclosed to all three school boards, before they agreed to enter into an agreement with the company.
As private schools, these institutions have the right to make the rules they choose.
A new potential market of size and scope for Psychmedics perhaps? Sounds to me like an exciting opportunity.
My dime store opinion
PLUG represents why some folks use the term "Wall Street Casino" . With its wild price swings, this does not appear to be the place for a buy and hold investor to be.
For those of you who have made money trading this stock, Mazel Tov. Enjoy the party.
Keep in mind that the day of the 0% capital gains tax will probably expire after this year. The party diminishes at year end.Uncle Sugar will want his "take" before the next party begins.
Obama Care, Pay As You Earn, heaven knows what other new entitlement programs, regulatory fiats are formulated by Uncle Sugar, in the days ahead, if you want to dance to the music, don't you know you got to pay to the piper. (and the price keeps going northward) Ask your momma.
