let's not single out MPW for recent price declines. Just one of many in same boat.
Big turn around failed today. That looks like bad news for the markets in general. Some good buying opportunities? I think we will be seeing lower prices now.
it's hard for him to remember which 'trades' he made because it is all fake. Then he can't even keep his longs and short calls straight. No wonder he got fired for writing leases that called for the owner to pay the expenses. Whatever is correct, he does the opposite.
Oh Boy!! Now he is saying he shorted TSLA. He is so mixed up. I hope he really doesn't have any control over any financial matters. Can we contact his family and warn them?
Yes like that CODI, 35% drop in a few minutes. Maybe computer driven, but whatever some good opportunities. But I missed that with the site crash. Also ETP was $41. OH WELL, Maybe we get another chance tomorrow.
NGG. Solid utility, company committed to dividend raising policy going forward. Low fuel prices good for utilities.
MO. Just raised its dividend by almost 9%-high end of estimates-. Low gasoline prices means people have more money to spend on cigarettes.
Had a couple of other ideas, but T Rowe website crashed T was $32.15 at time, CODI dropped from over $16 to under $10 for a while, now back over $16. So missed those two..
There have been rumblings for quite some time now. But I don't see Congress getting together enough to worry about this. One company I own that is hampered by regulations is NYCB. It is a small, solid bank that has grown thru acquisitions. Didn't take any bailout money. Has paid the same high dividend for years. It has been stymied by the 'cap' for small banks. Assets are about 48 billion, once over 50 Billion it would move into next category and perhaps its dividend could be questioned. I DO see Congress acting on this problem soon and perhaps raising that cap to 75B or 100B. The company is trading at the higher end of its recent range, but is worth watching.
Yes he recommends these tanking stocks and advised against O. Meanwhile O is down a buck from its high over the last week. I bet everyone would like to have their holdings go down $1 in the last week or so.
You can see the decline accelerating now. He repeats what others say. Then he mixes up what he says and does and thinks it is someone else. I don't think he will be able to post much longer. Certainly his mental capacity will be drastically less before he reaches 80 years old. What a wasted life.
I own ETP and have added to my position lately. After years of being stuck in neutral, it now has its business plan humming. Raising distribution on a steady basis. Can't predict the bottom, but I like it going forward.
He still hasn't forgiven them for firing him. But look at what he posts. You certainly can't blame them. Probably the last straw was when he insisted they pay the expenses like new carpets, instead of the tenants.
You are a good guy, but he is a hopeless jerk. Good for a punching bag, but not any other value so best to forget about helping him. He is not interested in your help just likes to prove that he is a jerk (and very successful at that). He never recovered after being fired from O.
Many quality companies down these days. Doesn't mean that their quality is down, just the price.
