This is certainly a worrisome time, at least short term, for ARCP shareholders. Reports will have to be restated. There will be investigations, bloodsucker class action lawsuits, and of course idiots like you who compare it to Enron. The price will suffer and perhaps the dividend decreased. But in the end the companies assets are still in the BILLIONS.
As for me I am NOT a shareholder. I own the preferred ARCPP. I originally purchased about a year ago at 21.20. Doubled up yesterday at 20.80. There is NO WAY that the company would even think about not paying that preferred dividend. So I am getting about 8% return. And price is higher than I paid on both purchases.
Wow what a miss!! FFO was about .01% below consensus estimates. Revs in line. Guidance lowered about .02 cents on $2.60 cents. big deal. Partly due to one time charge. Occupancy rate higher. You got a love it. Shorters just keep sending those checks
We have gone the entire year without the usual one time larger increase. Customer relations had mentioned that this would perhaps be addressed at end of year. so hopefully something will be announced today.
I did see that troubling trend between 10AM and 11AM today, that if it continued the stock would be down to zero in a short time. However it seems to have reversed and the price is slightly positive now. Whew, what a relief.
I feel like some of those who are spreading Ebola. The Donk sometimes follows me around when I say I like a company or purchased. So when I said I purchased LNCO at $24.50 a week or so ago His disease got spread to that board. You can have some legitimate negative thoughts about that company, but they spotted him for an idiot pretty quickly.
If it continues to go down tomorrow he posts again how he is winning. If it goes up, then he says he sold out after a few hours to take the profit. HA
We ARE interested in O, that's why we are stockholders. And what you have posted is relevant. But there is NOT really a lot to say that is different or controversial. We just collect our monthly checks.. Every so often I paste some article here that I find. Similar message boards have posts every month or so for the same reason. Sometimes we talk about other income opportunities. So all is not just drivel.
no. When the price goes up, he posts that he only held for a few hours and took that quick profit of 25 cents on his 100 share short. HA
If you are thinking 'total return' I think BAC is the better bet, even after you add in the NYCB dividend. However if you are an income investor, and not thinking of selling down the road then NYCB looks better. Everyone has different goals
Well we'll have to see how the new software works out. Being internet based should offer a lot of upgrades. Problems or not, with the new healthcare requirements I am sure that revenue will be up again this year. The stockholders will be happy and that is the main goal of any company and employees are not. Sadly that is our system
