The problem in the IRA is NOT the yearly UBTI which is almost always negative. Its when you sell it and that may generate UBTI. There was an article recently that thousands of KMP investors who had it in their IRA got bills from IRS when units were sold.
I sold as well today. $60.55. Average buy about $42. Its been great. Will get back in at a later time.
I work in an area of mainly lower income clients. So The period from 1/25-2/20 is very busy as clients rush in for refunds. We see about half our clients by 2/15.
