Men in white coats will be coming for Maple soon. Maybe he's really Patrick's alter ego waiting for his Sundance Utah trial!

Needham upgrades ENTR - 4.50 PT

You all know I'm no fan of Patrick Henry. He should have been fired long ago. But in his defense as far as INSIDER BUYING of ENTR shares, he had VERY material news that is now final out. It would not have looked good if any of the top execs had tried to buy shares in the past month with the staff reductions that were announced. Perhaps now that the news is out their lawyer (Bridges) may say OK guys, have at it if you want to purchase shares. They did exercise options which appears somewhat more ethical than buying shares while you are about to lay-off 23% of your employees!

And maybe you should cover your short position before more upgrades and positive news comes out that will drive the stock back up where it belongs! Yes, I have changed from HOLD to BUY after buying more shares in past 2 weeks. Needham appears to have it right. Going higher in Q4 and much higher in 2015 when cost savings kick in. "Buy when others are fearful"! Sound familiar?

I don't look in the rearview mirror when investing, it's all about future potential. That said, yes, management has certainly screwed up big time in 2013-14. Trident didn't help for sure! Patrick should have been fired for more than one reason, but they aren't going to do that. The stock got over punished for his screw-ups and now it looks like profitability is on the horizon. Maybe Patrick has finally got it right this time and the large orders will start coming through in late 2014 and early 2015. The market is HUGE for their products, we know that. Management now needs to execute and I think they will. This hasn't been a easy investment for sure, but patience often pays off. I think Dave Lyle will steer Patrick in the right direction and maybe even become the next CEO. We will see how the BOD's deals with Patrick!

As loony as I think Maple is, I will admit that same thought has crossed my mind. It's entirely possible the 23% staff cut has more to do with a merger or acquisition within the industry. Definitely not out of the question at these low prices. Only time will tell. Hopefully Patrick stays out of jail and keeps his nose clean in the meantime!

Bingo!! Board of Directors doesn't get the message either. They protected PH and changed his contract language after the horse was already out of the barn and 2 states away (as someone else on this message board posted earlier)!

Yep, still here and haven't sold any shares. Not buying any more though. Would love to see the BOD fire Patrick and bring in a "real" CEO. This guy is no leader and he can't even make a decent presentation to his shareholders. How he survived this long is beyond me! I still believe business will improve into 2015, but not because of Patrick. Thank God they have some good VP's that can get the job done in spite of their ----- boss!

Mrxit1, that's pretty much the way I see it also. Too bad we don't have a real leader that can show some real confidence (other than what's between his legs)! BOD really screwed up not firing him. Typical with many small companies though. The sector is right and the product designs are good so business should improve despite a terrible CEO. Hard to understand why the BOD can't get the message! BlackRock and Vanguard should be camping out on their doorstep or demanding a Board seat. Surely they could find a better CEO in a heartbeat!
