Patrons of Paris Las Vegas were horrified to see a 400 lb man attempt to jump from the Eiffel tower. The situation was resolved and when questioned, the man explained that he was distraught after having taken a severe hit to his net worth.
Stoxx, the average down doesn't compute. 3000 at 86.06, 3000 at 82.20 and 3000 at ??? Even if you got the last 3000 at the low of 81.50, you'd have 9000 at 83.25.
No shoes, no shirt, no problem, blues, what blues, Hey, I forgot them...................I was at one of his shows a few years ago. He's good live.
Rubber Ducky, joy of joys, when I squeeze you, you make noise!!
I can see you felt the squeeze, Toady. Now mix me up a margarita.
Toad, you may be an idiot. You may also be a person who likes to type a lot. In any case, I preferred when you just bragged and lied to us AAL investors and did not fill the board with condescending BS.
Bought at 66.06 thinking it was good for a quick bounce, set my sell at 67.07, dropped my car at the dealership for repair and got back to the price sitting at 67.40 with my sell executed. Thanks Stoxx, KSS wasn't on my radar until you brought it up. You gave me the first trade of the day. I'd like to see it washout to the 200 day ma at the open and then start working its way back. I don't think it'll get that low.
I've always been totally honest with you bearcub but you're right about the recommendation. I knew little about aapl and not near as much about the financial markets in general as I do today. My friend had a brother working for aapl. So yes, it was dumb luck on my part. Regardless, it has added significantly to my net worth. I don't chat about any of my long term holdings as you're well aware. With the exception of aapl, my long term positions have underperformed the market generally. It's only been in the last couple of years, that I've been able to beat the market. I've done much better percentage wise as a short term trader trading smaller amounts of capital. The goal obviously is to get good enough to generate high percentage rate of returns on increasingly larger amounts of capital.
How about if I give you one position. I invested $105,000 in aapl in January of 2004 on the recommendation of a friend. I haven't sold a share yet. You can do the math.
It was time to put up or shut up and you got on your bicycle. You can't post your way out of that fact. Relax Bearcub, it's over.
Another "run for cover" post. We get it BearcubRunsFromStoxx. You're gutless. Rubber Ducky, you're the one, you make Yahoo so much fun.
Bears, you were handed the perfect opportunity to exercise your superiority. However, in just a few "run for cover" posts, you defined yourself as a coward. You spend the majority of your time criticizing one of your fellow posters. He steps up and offers you an opportunity to show just how good you are in a controlled environment and you fold up like a cheap suit. BearcubRunsFromStoxx???
I'll moderate the contest. This is your chance to walk the walk, Bears, instead of just talking the talk. You've been highly critical of Stoxx's trades. As you can see, he's more than willing to step up and stand on his decisions. Now it's your turn.
Okay, what you're saying is you're all in or at least mostly in. So run a mock portfolio against Stoxx. You'll both post your trades in real time and that'll take care of the accountability/honesty. It could be real interesting.
Here's an idea Stoxx. Bears appears to find you to be a serious challenge to his manhood as evidenced in his never ending hate posts directed your way. He's highly critical of your trades. How about a little contest between the two of you? $1,000,000 portfolio each(mock or real....it's up to you) with all trades posted in real time for say 3-6 months or whatever time frame suits?
Bears, baby girl, remember this? "Get, grow a pair and short a million. You are boring." Are you special Bears? Rubber Ducky, you're the one. You make Yahoo so much fun.
Osama bin Bears, baby. Hate post number one for the day. You're off to a good start, you old terrorist. Rubber Ducky, you're the one. You make Yahoo so much fun.
are in the tub together, they argue over who has the biggest rubber ducky........ Toad: I read thousands of pages of information on AAL and I made a lot of money and I used all that money to buy a rubber ducky and now I have the biggest rubber ducky in the world and none of the other posters on the yahoo message board will ever have as big a rubber ducky as me and my life is so great and all the other posters are broke and have rotten lives........ Bears: I went to the same school as Joe Biden and I got an under graduate degree and since they'll give them to anyone, I got a masters and a phd too and then they gave me the nobel peace prize. Armed with all that BS, I went out and got a craapp accounting job and saved all the money that I didn't spend on recreational drugs and went out and bought myself a rubber ducky and now I have the biggest rubber ducky in the world and none of the other posters on the yahoo message board will ever have as big a rubber ducky as me, especially not Stoxx and my life is so great and all the other posters are broke and have rotten lives and it hurts me when Uncle pokes fun at me.
