Okay, you're an investor not a very short term trader like me, no problem; very different perspectives and time horizons.
I am short and have been in and out short 4 times since yesterday. It's been very profitable. Learn how to trade!
I would say that bus of yours going 70 mph went over the cliff and straight down, wouldn't you? Learn how to trade!
Covered at $49.98 for just a little over $1000. Why did I do the trade you asked? Because it looked like a typical overdone to the upside early morning pop and fade setup. This was a short term trade as all my trades are. The risk/reward fit my criteria.
Don't key on volume. With HFT, wash trades and algo churn, volume is artificial. The solar sector as a whole has gone parabolic on better but not great fundamentals and short squeezes. A chunk of these gains will be given back fairly soon. Look for setups to get short.
Exactly! Look for good setups to short from here.
Too many longs in pain and selling. Unless this stock gets some pretty heavy analyst support which i doubt will happen with the weak guidance, I would expect it to open in the $14s.
There will definitely be upgrades tomorrow. The analysts are all behind on price. However the stock has run too far. Today was a serious short squeeze and a lot of the covering has been done. Hopefully we get some more squuezing tomorrow and a new high to short.
Ended up with 2000 shares short from $22.18. Covered 1000 at $21.55 for $620 net. 1000 shares riding. Booyah to those two jackwagons singhbob and grgsvll; learn how to trade.
It rose over $4.00 on less than 80,000 shares; weak shorts, algo games, etc. Hard to imagine that it won't retreat from here; ridiculous valuation even with what looks like better revenue and guidance on revenue going forward. You have to look a couple years ahead and hope that they ever become profitable. However in this market, it could keep going higher. We're seeing stocks on a daily basis that miss estimates and guide lower only to turn around and post 10, 20, 30% gains in pps for no reason other than it's a bull market.
Pause rule for 10% or greater drop.
