PBR is undeniably in a deep hole. So, their employees go ahead and strike today demanding higher raises plus no divestitures. They want to keep bleeding it too. The Northeast rat, the commander-in-chief of all the billions of dollars grafted is still around raising hell throughout the country under the protection of the "MST-CUT army". What do we end up with? I see some longs here apparently rooting for Dilma and her PT buddies...they must be nuts!!!
I believe Patrick Yang bought 20,000 shares recently according to source other than Yahoo. It's important to know the background of insiders doing the trade...and Yang has scientific know-how as far as I can determine.
How long will banks stand the ongoing decay???
Some of my best friends in the US are Greeks. They've been disillusioned for years, but feel Greece is OK for an occasional vacation to see family and relatives. The kalamata olives and feta cheese they get in the US are better than what they get there. Get it?
Tsipras and Varoufakis are birds of a feather. I look at the whole package, and it's very troublesome. I feel sorry for the Greek still stuck there.
Greece is no Denmark. If Greeks failed miserably with the help of professionals, how can they perform on their own??? They're slow-pokes. The great majority of Quality professionals have left long ago for the USA, Germany and Australia. You oughta know better, Danish boy. ""Im fron Denmark""
Not wearing a tie by itself can be excused in many ways(e.g. a health issue). But when one adds that to the multitude of instances of back-stabbing, rudeness and lying blatantly then there is no doubt. Disrespect is an euphemism. IMO, the guy wants to be a new Che Guevara. Cuckoo...
Tsipras idolizes Che Guevara and Hugo Chaves. He was a member of the Communist Party(CP) till recently. Syriza has same ideals but is more palatable without the CP badge. BTW, I'm accused here of being a extreme conservative as well as a extreme liberal. I'm neither. But I can tell a "Commie" from miles...they HATE those that worked hard and succeeded...
They claim the world owes them plenty because Greece was "the birth of Democracy". If you don't by that argument, they'll be happy to come up with another one. But the bottom line is that you're not getting your dough back.
Varoufakis stated the government had a 6 month supply of kalamata olives, fetta cheese and olive oil. The question is whether people can eat that for so long...
Europe wins NOT! PK's nonsense is on display yet again. A simple analogy is: a family owes a $1M to a local bank. They vote not to pay any of it while calling the bankers "blackmailers and terrorists". Is that "democracy" too? What is everyone else that owes the bank going to do? It's clear that Greek is a dysfunctional country like a drug-addict, now under heavy Communist influence. PK is showing his true colors, and it's not blue...
This poisonous Communist duo has been playing a game of "gotcha" for 5 months. They've negotiated in bad faith all along, and called the other side "terrorists" and "blackmailers" repeatedly to name a few. They also are very irresponsible, and if they have to go down they'll aim to cause a lot of collateral damage. Varoufakis resigned this AM, but I bet he's in close contact with Tsipras for the next scam. They're always feigning...it's in their blood.
A very large percentage of Greeks are communists(Syriza and Communist Party), especially among the angry young people(20-45 y/age) that figure it's Germany's duty to bail them out again and again, so that they can keep retiring at 45.
It appears to me that Tsipras and Varoufakis had all these months of nonsense planned, eventually screwing the IMF over, and having a referendum after the deal deadline so that they could disregard results if Yes had won. But what about the $89B in loans lately? Was it lost? These financial kamikazi guys may be aiming at something even bigger...Varoufakis has recently mentioned a large multiple of that. BTW, Tsipras' idols are: 1st and foremost) Che Guevara; and 2nd) Hugo Chavez. Bottom line: their future is bleak.
Sanford and son would probably perform better than tactless Tsipras and Varoufakis.
"He is basically a communist"......I agree. He may be trying to make Greece a Communist state in the end. Currently, the damage to Greece in 5 months is huge, and her reputation is forever scarred. Why the Greek gambled on a clear loser is beyond me.
Arguably, the worst and most costly mess in a very short period of time ever seen. Only idiots believe in this demagogue: "no exit from euro"; "demand war reparations of over $200B"; "effective negotiating":; "no default"; "no bank closure"; etc etc. Whatever he says is worthless, you can take that to the bank!
