It's about time the evil bozos got sued! And EU is looking into Google's mischief with Android too.
Is disposableTard dead or something? It's 4 days since any of his nyms posted.
DisposableTard has created multiple personas, each with its own name, address & other particulars, and gives them out freely in an effort to fool people.
The fact that he's giving them out freely shows the details are fake.
There is a solitary Linux beggar boy operating at least 3 nyms (and possibly many more) on this board. Call him disposableTard or by his other nyms, but it's the same loser.
By "nobody", you must mean hundreds of millions of people. Because that's how many people buy Windows PCs each year. PC sales are down a little, but they are still in hundreds of millions.
Windows makes the world go round. Never forget that. (And you can't opt out of paying Bill Gates. Never forget that either.)
Wottard logs back in with his original nym to contribute his usual blather. LOL!
We all can't contain our laughter at Linux - what's there to be frightened of? Nothing.
Per IDC, Linux is beaten soundly on the server by Windows. Now, Linux is a server OS and is free of cost to boot. For it to be crushed by Windows on server, you can see how terrible Linux is!
Linux has managed to get a 1% usage share on the desktop after 22+ years of constant hacking & incessant lying by its "advocates".
Linux has little presence in mobile. Ubuntu handsets continue to be a joke. Though the Linux kernel is used in Android, it's just a commodity piece with no bearing on how successful Android is (as an OS for toy-like devices). Google mentions Linux exactly zero times on its Android web site! (LOL!) In fact, nobody other than the Linux fecktards cares about Linux kernel being used as a commodity piece in Android.
God, what a joke Linux is!
IBM has something to hide, it seems.
Don't head over to groklaw to find out, because groklaw sidesteps inconvenient facts. LOL!
Ignore disposableTard below.
"Still Your Friend" is nonsense! Groklaw was *never* your friend. It freely accepted donations from all kinds of entities. How can you be sure its writing is not bought & paid for? (In fact, the paralegal doesn't come through as someone that understands or supports the Free Software concept that the freetards keep pushing. She uses a Mac! What the feck is that?)
DisposableTard is getting too animated. I worry for him. All this excitement is not good for him in his ripe old age.
Groklaw is a biased little shet run by a paralegal with a propensity to run in the face of slightest adversity. This is all I'm saying. You can get court documents from other sources.
Please don't navigate to groklaw to read about anything, leave alone the SCO case particulars. If at all possible, stay away from groklaw forever. It is nothing but a heap of dung - all kinds of freetards leaving their worthless opinions on there, plus the biased BS by the dishonest paralegal.
"Information technology workers at Southern California Edison (SCE) are being laid off and replaced by workers from India. Some employees are training their H-1B visa holding replacements, and many have already lost their jobs."
Companies & people want different things. There is no solution to this. Companies have to do what's profitable. If you outlaw H1Bs or make that process difficult, they can set up shop overseas. It will work for software. (IBM Consulting does exactly that for some kind of software roles, to keep their consulting service prices competitive.)
But if the H1B candidates' quality is terrible and the process is not profitable in the long run, the companies should eventually learn their lesson.
As the leader of Indian nyms on this board, I conclude that disposableTard's theories are baseless and worthless. He is senile and fit to be called 'retardo'. LOL!
Despite the frantic lying by the Linux "advocates", Linux continues to have little to do with Android. So the screens of toy devices that people are looking at belong to Android, not Linux.
Linux, meanwhile, continues to be a mediocre unremarkable OS, with little role to play in the world of computing. It may happen to be used in some places, but only where its mediocre quality is not an impediment & its cheapness is a virtue.
At one time, the Linux monkeys were jumping up & down about something they called "compiz", some sort of composting thing, whatever that may mean. This was supposed to be something exclusive to Linux and a selling point for it. We don't hear about it anymore these days. I guess it's just one more buggy little open sores shet that has no use in practice.
The noise the Linux feckers are making about virtual desktops now reminds me of the Compiz idiocy. Virtual desktops have been available on Windows through 3rd party programs for more than a decade. The Linux bums have made them a part of the OS, and the Linux Loons feel this is somehow an advantage. You will find Linux is full of these trivial 'features' that its supporters keep bragging about. But the most important things keep getting neglected. e.g. feasibility of device driver binaries, ability to avoid dependency hell for programs.
The Linux fecktards are hilarious!
SP3 sold plenty, you dumb shet! Weren't you the guy trying FUD even before the sales figures were out? Yes, you were!
Great News! And the fact that it upsets the hereticTard is bonus. LOL!
In other news, I heard Torvalds made enough money from Linux to buy himself a nice house. I don't know about a second home though. Linux is not that successful.
Microsoft could stop working on Windows phone and ride Android royalty revenue for the foreseeable future. Billions of dollars a year in royalties is pretty good.
But with Windows 10, when 'universal app' development becomes feasible, may be they will start seeing more apps being available for Windows phone. That may help. Or, they can go for one of those Android emulators, and let all of the Android apps run on Windows phone. Or, they can set up their own Android "distro" and substitute Google services with their own.
iPhone & the Google-free Android clones have taken share from Android.
Android is looking more and more like a losing bet for Google. App Store activity and mobile ad revenue continue to flounder.
Microsoft continues to mint royalty money from Android & the Google-free clones (to the tune $2b a year, oh my!).
Yeah, Linux is so good that all of 1% of PC users in the whole entire world prefer to use it. ROFL!
If Linux were a person, it'd have long died of shame. LOL!
As the NY Times article states about the Cholesterol dietary guidelines in force until now: "Instead of accepting that this evidence was inadequate to give sound advice, strong-willed scientists overstated the significance of their studies."
The bums that are jumping up & down about 'science' will do well to bear this passage in mind.
