MILWAUKEE – Authorities say a 26-year-old woman driving in Milwaukee was shot to death when a child in the back seat got hold of a gun.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says the woman was struck once in the back as she drove south on U.S. 41/Highway 175 around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
When deputies arrived, the woman had no pulse and was not breathing. Officers tried to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lawsuit against Donald Trump's self-styled "university" accusing it of scamming hundreds of students can head to trial, a New York judge decided Tuesday.
Eric Schneiderman, New York state's attorney general, filed a $40 million civil suit against Trump University — an online program for would-be real estate investors — in 2013. He claimed the school used fraud and false advertising techniques to lure students with the promise that they could get rich — just like Trump.
The school has come under renewed scrutiny since the businessman became the front-runner in the GOP presidential race and touted that Trump University earned an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Inside the Storm Prediction Center

NORMAN, Okla. -- The heart of America is bracing for what could be more rough weather this week -- conditions are ripe for some destructive storms. CBS News went to Norman, Oklahoma to find out how experts track them.
The storms already started in parts of Kansas already on Sunday. Bill Bunting, the operations chief at the Storm Prediction Center, said that is only the beginning.
A meteorologist at the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma points out a storm system CBS NEWS
"All hazards are possible," he said. "Tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail."
Texas storm damages estimated at more than $1 billion
According to Bunting, the Midwest, South and Central Plains should brace for a week of potentially dangerous weather. The forecast comes from the center's "war room," where meteorologists track the systems and make predictions.
Bunting explained what he has learned over the years about the science of predicting weather and making forecasts.
"I think key has been the understanding of how storms develop, and what environments are most favorable for say, tornadic thunderstorms, versus those that don't produce tornadoes."
It starts with a strong jet stream from the Northwest colliding with a surge of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, but scientists have discovered another clue: shifts in winds below the jet stream ahead of a storm can help predict severe weather.
"When those winds are particularly strong, and exhibit a certain change in speed and direction and height, those are days that we can hone in on and say those storms in that particular area will have a higher risk of producing a tornado," Bunting explained.
With a high risk on Tuesday, online briefings with emergency officials in the region are well underway.
The threat of severe weather for the nation's mid-section goes through the week and into the weekend.
Officials are using blunt language in their warnings now. Instead of a simple "take shelter," people may hear "mobile homes will be destroyed" and "flying debris will be deadly."

I believe I will be able to get a sim card for my phone, assuming I succeed I will send XXXX (and maybe more of you) my phone number in Nepal, I am not sure how reliable the phone service will be, especially once we are in the mountains. I know there is at least some internet connections on the trail so I will be checking my emails sporadically. You will probably be able to get a message to me through the hotels listed also.

An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed inside a Montgomery County church Sunday.
The incident occurred during the 11 a.m. service at the Keystone Fellowship Church on Stump Road just off Route 309 in Montgomeryville. Police say 27-year-old Robert Braxton, a member of the church, was involved in an altercation with another church member. During the altercation, at least one shot from a semiautomatic handgun was fired.
Feltonville Shooting Leaves Teen Dead
Police arrived at the church at 11:23 a.m. and found Braxton, of Montgomeryville, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Abington-Lansdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:11 p.m.
Police say the church member involved in the shooting was also injured during the altercation. He was taken to the hospital and later released. Investigators say the man is cooperating with police and no charges have been filed against him. They are currently trying to determine whether or not the shooting was justified. They also said the man has a concealed carry permit.
hello melvin what background check isn' t enforced? Of course since 40% of guns are sold at gun shows exempt from gun checks it doesn't really matter does it?

You know in the real world.
It had nothing to do with the fact that labor in Vietnam is a dollar a day. If U.S. companies were allowed to poison the water they could pay 15 times Vietnam labor rates.
