Insensitivity = irresponsibility in this context. No, comparing artists and this CEO is not the same. This company is a public one and CEOs are held for a high regard. The CEO has the moral responsibility to be sensitive and responsible with how they spend their money. Have you studied business ethics in school? I guess not!
The stock has been crashing since the high 90s, ergo investors are losing money. Then the CEO buys an expensive toy, isn't that very insensitive to a ton of investors who lost money? Go figure!
that was the last straw for me. It was just an irresponsible move to me. Sold all my GPRO on that same moment and glad I did!
It's because that possibility is already factored in the market. Investors and gamblers alike already had that mindset. There might be a small downside knee-jerk reaction on the day it happens but reversal of this downtrend is quite imminent, especially with the falling rig count ergo falling production, and consequently oil price increase. Now if something prevents Iran from selling its oil on that date, then expect oil price to the roof.
LOL. I only buy when I have gains in other stocks. My gains from NUGT and a few more mining stocks for the past 3 trading days is keeping me without losses from my capital.
