The stock price is getting very close to the low for the year. I expect there is some tax selling going on in cmlp and probably a number of other mlp's that are near their lows for the year. I think some pretty interesting bargains are developing in the mlp area and it might be a good time to do some homework because yields are getting very tempting. Anyone have any names they like?
This used to be one of the growth reit's that had a good street following. I realize that they are tied to government spending more than most but is there any other reason the stock is down so much from its high?
There is an article on Seeking Alpha about the crop outlook and about farmers' income that seems very bullish for the fertilizer industry. You can access it via the symbol weat .This should be very positive for cvr but the stock acts very badly which means something may be wrong internally. Any thoughts.?
Have some patience. They will be discovered sooner or later. After all Warren Buffet just discovered Exxon and they have been around for 100 years.
What does that have to do with mpo. I guess Warren just figured out that Exxon is a producer of lng. After all the company has only been around for 100 years or so.
Maybe the company can make a deal with them and buy the stock back. If they have to sell that many shares it will take a long time if they piece it out. If someone would bid for the whole block at say 20 they might get it and clear the air. Just a thought as my own capital is tied up at present.
If you look at the 5 day chart it looks like it gap opened yesterday although that might have been in European trading. Today it gapped down. End result is very little change.
Seeking Alpha did a story on the company saying it was a multiple bagger and Paulson shows up with a holding. I would not put much faith in either of these events.
Maybe when you get what you wish for you really don't want it. If it is worth buying at 20 it is worth buying a few points higher especially if you think it can go up a lot more from here.
according to the press release the stock was ex-dividend today and the amount was $1.10 per share. The way to get this information is to go to the Yahoo chart and then to profile section. Then you will see the company's email address which will lead you to their website. From there you go to press releases and then to financial info. I know this is a bit of a stretch but it is the only way I could find any info. They also show their quarterly results backlog etc. It was a great quarter and it looks like there is more to come.
