His predictions are the same as coin flips. 50% depending on the time frame. Glad you were lucky, but you would be better off doing your own investigation. Remember it's his job to get readers (by sensational journalism), not make you money.
Sorry but your comment is not born out in reality. MSFT, FTI, AAPL, F, FB, GE, PFE, etc, etc, etc insiders have all sold before, during and after run ups.
I believe the 5% market share is probably correct. However, since this is a start-up I don't know how that will translate to revenue. Galena provided some coupons to purchase which could have diluted some revenue. That being said, it is common marketing practice with drugs or most products entering new markets to offer an incentive to try the product. Mid to long term Abstral will be a net positive.
Based on stock performance in the overall market, there is absolutely no correlation between insider ownership and divestment and stock performance. I don't believe Ahn's equity interest has any bearing on Gale's stock performance. (Insider ownership = great stock performance is an old wives tale.)
If you work for a living, why don't you wait for a year before cashing your pay check? That way at the end of the year you will have a giant lump sum.
That is an updated statement of holdings--not a purchase of new shares by Black Rock. I wish it was a new purchase.
IMHO- If-$15/share was offered on Monday it would be a done deal. I'm long Gale, but let's be serious, 51% of the shareholders would take that deal.
Did not see what you referred to. Are you sure you are on the right board?
traded today. It was a heavy bear assault. But why? A lot of stops were taken out today. There are a lot of brand new shareholders today. I always wonder what the new buyers see or know.
I think that 7.77 number was due to the pre-Cramer effect for one day. The prior couple of days the stock traded in the 7.25 range. Still a blow but I didn't see a reason for the 50 cent move due to Cramer's show to begin with. (Just some Mad Money groupies). I still see positive price movement with the forthcoming catalysts this year. (Frankly, I was more concerned that Cramer was going to endorse Gale. I would have had to reconsider my DD if that had occurred--and I am not joking.)
What single word would you use to replace extrapolated? I understood it. If you don't, just ask. I'm sure someone nice on the board will explain it. It won't be me.
Buying not yet over either. Sellers, buyers, differing value opinions. Sounds like a market. Wow.
BTW who is Sierra World Equity?
Probably best for you to try something other than bio. GALE has the best risk/reward equation in the small bio marketplace.
Abstral numbers, FBP phase 2 results, and Neuvax phase 3 interim data will all probably hit in 2014. Positive results in all 3 will provide a substantial upside move in pps.
Meant today 1/17/14. It must be nice to have an opinion on both sides of a trade. A year from now they can say they were right irregardless of which way it goes.
On Dec 17, 2013 Adam Feuerstein ( in The Street) predicted NWBO's vaccine would blow up in the phase 3 trial. Today 1/17/13, Robert Pedone (in The Street) named NWBO as a stock that's ready to break out. Don't either of them read The Street or do they just think the opinions they provide are worthless.
The lesson I see here is "nothing to worry about for 3 years". I don't think that was what you were going for though. Good interim results for Neuvax in 2014, good results from phase 2 with herceptin, and decent results from Abstral in 2014 will lead to an offer this year. Not sure I want that, but pretty sure it will happen. Have seen it happen to small bios with a lot less promise.
