Sitting on the bench doesn't help you win any games either. Don't get me wrong, I want this thing to improve (not short here), but when the market posts solid gains and you can barely manage to touch the positive side, there's major concern to be had. Many people had blamed the "markets were driving down the stock", and I can't tell you how many time I've heard the "rising tide raises all boats" idea. It just seems like Ford's boat is tethered to the Marianas Trench right now.
Let's hope we get some good news after what many are speculating to be a fairly lackluster earning report.
Does the dividend stay the same after a split? Or do they split that too? If the dividend stays the same, it would help you accumulate shares at a significantly faster rate. The only plus side to a split in my opinion.
I'm holding where I am. We can speculate all we want, because we'll be the ones left holding the bag if F dumps after earnings.
Let's just hope that "large near term price movement" is in a positive direction.
Just came back to see this stock after selling out at 13.20. I'm surprised to see its continued to fall this far. Wonder how much further it can go? Good luck to all of you still holding on!
Given the market's condition today, I'd be really happy to see F close somewhere in this range. I'm focusing on 16.41 at close. Anyone care to mention their predicted closing price for F today?
an interesting take, but I disagree. Even if Ford had the amount of debt you claim, they're poised to increase earnings for many quarters to come, and that would quickly fix their debt/revenue ratios (assuming they were bad to begin with).
I'll give you a thumbs up for at least attempting to work Ford into your post. I also agree with your stance on these stocks (though I don't own any). I need to research before I jump into the weed stocks.
Shut up Ringo. Go highjack someone else's board with your mindless drivel. You are a personification of the problem.
1. Stay long enough to try to offend someone.
2. Drop your political agenda in our laps and slink back into the shadows.
Please make your posts in a political forum, where I'm sure someone will appreciate them.
Actually, I've been on this board for quite some time now. Long enough to realize that this isn't really a Ford forum. Mostly just a bunch of political junkies who think they're accomplishing something by posting their manifestos here for all to see. Throw in some 'your guy' sucks, thank God for 'my guy' comments, and that's pretty much what this forum has eroded into. Just go someplace where your political views can be appreciated...like a political forum.
Please go find a political forum. This is a Ford forum. If you can't figure that out, I strongly recommend getting a check-up from the neck up.
it will test 69. If it doesn't hold, then 66 is next resistance.
Not one of them contained any discussion of Ford stock in any way, shape, or form. 9 of them resorted to name-calling. This is only in the past 20 minutes. This board is getting pathetic. Please stop with the political postings people. Enough is enough already. I understand some of you are going to say "well Ford is directly tied to what happens in Washington".
FINE, I GET THAT. Then discuss the implications that Washington's policies will have on Ford's bottom line. You're acting lunch a bunch of children with bad "your mama" jokes. Please begin to act like adults or go to another forum.
It's already apparent that Yahoo doesn't care at all about this. I'm asking politely for all the people who try to use this forum for its originally intended purpose (Ford stock discussion). You guys make it incredibly difficult to find information relevant to the stock, let alone get a question answered by the forum before its buried under an avalanche of political #$%$.
